Selection Criteria:

  1. To be considered for the role, applicants must be female. An applicant's gender is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 31 of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977
  2. Must hold general registration with the MRPB/AHPRA
  3. A licence to operate radiation apparatus by the NSW EPA
  4. Experience in diagnostic and or screening mammography and PACS systems with knowledge of quality assurance
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  6. Excellent time management skills
  7. Be able to work as part of a Multidisciplinary team with advanced communication skills
  8. Class C drivers licence and with a willingness to travel to BreastScreen sites within the South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Local Health Districts

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur ifno suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.

A worker and new recruit will be considered compliant if they have a medical contraindication to all available Therapeutic Goods Administration approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccines and provide medical contraindication evidence in line with the policy requirements.

In addition, all Category A workers and new recruits are required to receive one dose of the seasonal influenza vaccine annually to be considered compliant.

Category A workers and new recruits who are non-compliant with seasonal influenza vaccination or have a medical contraindication to influenza or COVID-19 vaccinations must comply with all other infection control risk reduction strategies as directed while working in a Category A position.
