How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Degree or equivalent in Medical Imaging from a recognised university or qualification deemed by APHRA and registered and eligible to remain on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency’s (APHRA) Medical Radiation Practice Board Registry as well as holding a current NSW EPA radiation licence.
  2. Demonstrate significant professional knowledge and judgment to acquire and exhibit competency in all appropriate clinical tasks
  3. Demonstrate a patient focussed approach to service delivery
  4. Demonstrate good time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  5. Demonstrate the ability to provide training and assess clinical experience of students and other IR radiographers within the department and the LHD when required
  6. Demonstrate the ability to participate in developing and implementing procedures and protocols for the department as required
  7. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with department managers and staff, other hospital staff, private referrers, company sales representatives, patients and their family members
  8. Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
