Care in the right Setting (CaRs) are looking for a Senior Medical Officer to join their team on a Temporary Part-Time basis for 12 months from 6th June 2024.
The Hospital in the Home (HITH) service is a hospital substitution with the expressed aim to provide medical, nursing and allied health care to patients in their home environment. Without a HITH Service, eligible patients would otherwise be admitted to hospital for monitoring/treatment in a traditional inpatient bed. Patients receive quality care that is tailored to their individual needs.
Mackay Hospital and Health Service Mackay is a vibrant regional centre in tropical North Queensland, servicing a population of over 180,000. The Mackay Isaac Whitsunday Region has a thriving economy that includes a diverse range of tourism, agriculture, industry, mining, education and health industries.

Salary Information (L13 - L17, L18 - L23, L24 - L25):
Total remuneration value of up to $184,064 (L17) is comprised of:
- A salary between $88,401 - $99,471 (L13-L17)
Total remuneration value of up to $210,728 (L23) is comprised of:
- A salary between $102,103 - $115,782 (L18-L23)
Total remuneration value of up to $230,191 (L25) is comprised of:
- A salary between $118,598 - $122,101 (L24-L25)
