About us:

The Cancer Inpatient Unit is a 11-bed inpatient unit for Cancer Care Services. Cancer Care Services encompass – Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Haematology, and Specialist Palliative Care.

About the role:

Practise independently and interdependently. Assume accountability and responsibility for own actions and delegation of care to Registered Nurses (RN's), Enrolled Nurses (EN's), Assistants in Nursing (AIN's) and healthcare workers. Demonstrate evidence of increasing autonomy and exercise greater levels of professional judgement in the clinical environment as the employee moves from a beginning to experienced practitioner.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must have current nursing registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  • Demomstrated ability to provide leadership, percept staff and contribute to professional nursing practice with confidence and integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a high-quality service with the primary focus on achievement of organisational goals for the good of others.
  • Competence in the application of clinical problem solving and effective coordination of patient centred care at an advanced level.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $97,536 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A hourly rate between $54.44 - $58.30 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
