About the role
This is a fixed-term 12-month full-time role, applications are invited from experienced and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team. As a registered nurse, you will be a part of a highly dedicated team that provides the best patient-centred care for our Rehabilitation patients.
You will have the opportunity to work across the rehab inpatient unit at Braeside Hospital, Prairiewood. We offer applicants a stimulating workplace and a supportive team environment within the unit. Our staff are valued members of the multi-disciplinary team and are encouraged to participate in all learning and development activities with the added flexibility of a rotating roster.
About you
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Experience working in the specialty area of rehabilitation in an inpatient setting or community is desirable
- Evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking, and analysis in your daily practice as a registered nurse
- Able to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
