A Statewide NSW GP practice requires a Specialist in General Practice

The Position
A remote Aboriginal Medical Service is seeking a locum GP to provide primary care services to the local community across several available blocks in 2026. The GP will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with no on-call or weekend commitments. This is a solo-GP post, supported by clinic staff and regular visiting specialists.

Available Dates

$1800 per day
• 30th March to 10th April
• 11th to 29th May

$1650 per day
• From 29th June until end 2026

• Monday–Friday only, 8:30am–5:00pm (1-hour lunch) Supported by local Aboriginal health workers and allied health
• All travel and accommodation can organized suitable to a full family coming along. Flights provided (including regional charter from Dubbo) Accommodation included Fleet vehicle provided during placement
• Located in far western NSW, this township is steeped in Aboriginal heritage and offers a culturally rich placement. It’s within an hour of Lightning Ridge and features historical attractions like the ancient Brewarrina Fish Traps.
