• Situated on the NSW and Queensland border, this small rural town is 585 km west southwest of Brisbane and has an approximate population of 364 residents. The town is located on the Balonne River and its population fluctuates each year as seasonal workers come to work on the extensive cotton fields.
• This MPS provides hospital, community and allied health services, as well as home and community care support for the town and nearby communities
• Services available include accident and emergency, outpatients, pharmacy, respite care, long term residential, acute inpatient care, minor operations, Indigenous health care, palliative care, chemotherapy and radiology.
