We are currently hiring on behalf of a well-established Queensland public Hospital and Health Service to recruit Consultant Psychiatrists across two regional hospitals in the Wide Bay region, with additional positions potentially available in the wider Wide Bay-Burnett area.

Our client is a Queensland Health-funded Hospital and Health Service delivering acute and community mental health care to a growing regional catchment. Positions sit within an established Mental Health and Specialised Services division operating across two regional public hospitals - a principal regional referral facility and a well-connected smaller regional hospital - supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team spanning inpatient, outpatient, community and hospital-in-the-home programs.

• Deliver expert psychiatric care to patients across inpatient, outpatient and hospital-in-the-home services
• Provide professional leadership within a well-resourced multidisciplinary mental health team
• Contribute to the training, education and supervision of junior medical staff and allied health colleagues
• Work across a genuine breadth of clinical presentations in a supportive regional environment
• Positions available at Senior Staff Specialist, Staff Specialist, or Senior Medical Officer level, dependent on experience and qualifications

• Total remuneration package up to AUD $564,548 p.a.
• Base salary between $193,191 - $282,912 p.a., dependent on level and experience

• Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Specialist Psychiatrist with AHPRA
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) for Staff Specialist and Senior Staff Specialist appointments
• Australian working rights, or eligibility for employer-sponsored visa
• Current National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and all standard Queensland Health pre-employment checks
