We're excited to be partnering with a growing and highly regarded allied health organisation to recruit an experienced Speech Pathologist Team Leader.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinician who is ready to move beyond their individual caseload and make a bigger impact through leadership, mentoring and service development - while still maintaining a small clinical caseload.

You'll be joining a collaborative multidisciplinary environment where your expertise, ideas and leadership style will genuinely make a difference.

Why This Opportunity?

  • Lead with purpose - provide clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring to a team of Speech Pathologists at varying stages of their careers.

  • Shape clinical practice - have a real influence on service delivery, clinical frameworks, quality improvement and innovative therapy approaches.

  • Make a meaningful impact - support clients across NDIS, TAC, private and community settings, with a strong focus on functional and person-centred outcomes.

  • Work with a supportive leadership team - collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary leaders who value communication, innovation and teamwork.

  • Keep one foot in clinical practice - maintain a small, meaningful caseload while developing your leadership responsibilities.

Your Role

As the Speech Pathology Team Leader, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical supervision, mentoring and coaching to Speech Pathologists, from new graduates through to experienced clinicians.

  • Supporting clinicians with complex presentations and providing advanced clinical consultation.

  • Supporting onboarding, capability development and professional development pathways.

  • Helping clinicians manage complex caseloads and clinical decision-making.

  • Working collaboratively with Occupational Therapy and other multidisciplinary team leaders.

  • Contributing to quality improvement, clinical audits, service innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Supporting a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture.

  • Maintaining a small clinical caseload to remain connected to clinical practice.

About You

You're an experienced Speech Pathologist who is passionate about people, clinical excellence and developing others.

You'll bring:

  • SPA eligibility and 3+ years' clinical experience.

  • Strong clinical experience across paediatrics and/or adults.

  • Experience in areas such as communication, swallowing, AAC and/or social skill development.

  • Previous experience in supervision, mentoring, coaching or clinical leadership.

  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

  • A genuine passion for supporting clinicians to grow and succeed.

  • A person-centred approach and commitment to high-quality clinical outcomes.

  • An understanding of NDIS and TAC service environments.

  • A current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Whether you're already a Team Leader or an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist ready to take that next step, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
