• This department provides comprehensive care for adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions. This includes managing chronic diseases, acute illnesses and complex cases that require co-ordinated care across multiple specialties
• Patient education and self management of long term health conditions is encouraged. By educating patients about their conditions, and involving them in the decision making process, the unit aims to improve health outcomes for the patient
• The town is located near the geographical centre of the state, is 93 km north west of Melbourne and has approximately 103,818 residents
