Urgent evening shifts for a Career Medical Officer in the Inpatients Unit at a Northern NSW Hospital from 15 September to 17 September 2026.

Days are working alongside RMO and Consultant. Evenings are solo in-charge. May be required to be on call overnight for wards (Inpatients/Rehab) if unable to cover ED nights. Will be advised upon booking. Remunerated 1 hour for being on call at booked rate. Reimbursed if called into the department.

The rate is $180.00/hour

• The General Medical ward comprises 30 beds, including a Close Observation unit for patients requiring a higher level of care
• Medical services are provided by ward based doctors and VMO's including local General Practitioners who have admitting rights
• Patients with private health insurance are able to select any available Doctor with admmitting rights to look after them. A General Physician and a Gerontologist provide services in the general ward as well, along with a range of allied health services
