The Opportunity

As a Specialist Endocrinologist, you will have the opportunity to provide a broad range of specialist services while contributing to the ongoing development of endocrinology across the region.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Providing specialist outpatient endocrinology clinics
• Inpatient endocrinology consultation services
• Delivering evidence-based, patient-centred specialist care
• Working collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams
• Participating in clinical governance, audit and quality improvement
• Contributing to clinical guidelines and contemporary models of care
• Teaching and mentoring medical students, junior doctors and allied health professionals
• Participating in research and academic activities through an established university partnership
• Contributing to the development and expansion of endocrinology services
• Supporting a culture of clinical excellence, education and continuous improvement

About You

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Endocrinologist who is committed to delivering high-quality specialist care and contributing to the continued development of regional health services.

You Will Have

• Specialist registration, or eligibility for specialist registration, with AHPRA
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Endocrinology, or an equivalent specialist qualification
• Demonstrated specialist experience in Endocrinology
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centred care
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
• An interest in teaching and mentoring
• An interest in research, clinical governance and service development
• A commitment to continuing professional development
