Locum Senior Medical Officer required for a remote hospital placement in Western Queensland.

Shift 1: ASAP to 31/12/2026
Critical Dates: 21/12/2026 - 28/12/2026. Single doctor site. On-call 18:00 to 08:00. Remote after-hours support provided.

The rate is $3168.00/day

• Level 2 remote hospital under the Rural and Remote Clinical Services Capability Framework. The facility provides 24-hour acute inpatient and accident and emergency care. Culturally appropriate care is provided by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers, nursing, medical, administration and operational staff.
• 1 FTE x SMO (single Dr Site) Rostered hours: 0800am to 1800pm Monday to Sunday On call: 1800pm to 0800am Monday to Sunday Remote after hours on call support is provided by My Emergency Doctor from 10:00 pm to 08:00 am. On site Dr will be called as required.
• 4 inpatient beds 2 renal chairs 2 ED beds
