Tresillian is offering permanent positions in a New Graduate Program for Registered Nurses and Midwives.Positions are available at our Canterbury, Nepean and Wollstonecraft (NSW) sites.You will be supported through a structured training program with formal and informal education from the Tresillian Education, Professional Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICC).You will also receive clinical support in the workplace from experienced Child and Family Health Nurses and Clinical Nurse Educators.You will be joining a supportive and committed team that is guided by Tresillian’s values of Access, Respect, Partnership, Integrity and Excellence.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

·Tresillian Canterbury Residential Unit – permanent full-time 38 hours per week rotating roster 24 hours, 7 days per week

·Tresillian Nepean Residential Unit – permanent full-time 38 hours per week rotating roster 24 hours, 7 days per week

·Tresillian Wollstonecraft Residential Unit – permanent full-time 38 hours per week rotating roster 24 hours, 7 days per week

Following completion of the 12-month New Graduate Program, your ongoing employment will be conditional that you complete a post-graduate Child and Family Health qualification over the next 2 years.You will be supported to complete your Graduate Certificate in Child and Family Health. Your career can develop at Tresillian in many ways with clinical progression to Clinical Nurse Specialist, management or education roles or into research.

Start date for successful applicants will be February 2027.

Tresillian will be conducting virtual information sessions to discuss the New Graduate Program at Tresillian.The sessions will be held on the following days.This will give applicants the opportunity to obtain more information regarding the program and to also speak with a Clinical Nurse Educator, and Nurse Unit Manager about the Tresillian New Graduate Programs.Please see the following date options:

This position will be involved in gaining knowledge and clinical skills in the provision of quality child and family health services to families caring for children 0-3 years of age within a Tresillian service. This will be achieved by working within the Tresillian collaborative Model of Care, family partnership principles and Health Professional Practice Frameworks for Child and Family Health Nursing (CFHN). The RN will observe and use a strength-based and wellness focus and gain skills through the provision of information, education, resources, guidance and role modelling of safe responsive care. The RN will provide safe, compassionate, person-centred nursing care by ensuring care is delivered in collaboration with families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

Selection Criteria:1) Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse/ Midwife at commencement of employment.2) Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.3) Demonstrated clinical knowledge and clinical problem-solving abilities.4) Demonstrated ability to work within a team.5) Demonstrated understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the role of a RN/RM, including the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) standards of practice.6) Demonstrated understanding of the role in applying continuous improvement to quality and safety.7) Demonstrated understanding of Tresillian Values.
