Job Description

As the Senior Leisure & Lifestyle Officer, you will be responsible for planning and delivering meaningful leisure and lifestyle programs that support resident well-being. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will ensure these programs promote optimal health, healthy ageing, and resident choice. With a strong customer service focus, you will tailor programs to meet the individual needs of each resident.

About the Candidate

SummitCare is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior Leisure & Lifestyle Officer to join our team on a Full time basis at our residential aged care facility in Waverley., Completed or near completion of a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, or Diversional Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related discipline.

Specialisation in aged care and leisure (for Diversional Therapists).

1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role within the aged care or health sector.

A current National Police Check.

High self-motivation, passion, creativity, and innovation in enhancing residents' daily lives.

Ability to assess residents' social, spiritual, and emotional needs, and design tailored individual leisure and lifestyle programs.

Strong organisational and computer skills with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team.

Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
