What you'll be doing
As an Anaesthetic Registered Nurse, you will play an integral role in delivering safe, evidence-based and person-centred care throughout the perioperative journey. You will work closely with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with professional standards and best practice principles.
Deliver safe, high-quality and culturally responsive anaesthetic nursing care to patients with diverse healthcare needs.
Collaborate effectively with anaesthetists, surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes.
Support and mentor Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and fellow Registered Nurses to foster clinical excellence.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice and a culture of continuous learning.

Essential Criteria
Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (APHRA)
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience and clinical skills in Perioperative Nursing Practice and in particular anaesthetic nursing.
Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
