The Family Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV) Healing Coordinator position is well suited to someone with a recognised tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers, as well as an understanding of Aboriginal cultural values and commitment to the advancement and self-determination of Aboriginal communities.
TheFDSVHealing Coordinatorprovides leadership, coordination and clinical oversight of the Big Rivers Healing for Our Mob program. A key focus of the position is strengthening integration across partnering organisations, ensuring healing and wellbeing of FDSV victim-survivors and communities remain central to service delivery. The program also works in partnership with communities to deliver education and awareness of FDSV, improve access to support pathways and promote culturally grounded recovery and healing.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Provide guidance and coordination of the Big Rivers Healing for Our Mob program,ensuring effective and culturally secure service delivery.
- Strengthen multidisciplinary integration across partnering organisations to ensure aholistic, health-led approach to supporting FDSV victim-survivors and communities.
- In collaboration with the case workers, oversee referral and intake processes,ensuring timely triage, appropriate allocation, and prioritisation of clients based onrisk and need.
- Ensure high-quality case management practices, including the development,implementation, and regular review of care plans, risk assessments, and casedocumentation.
- Provide mentoring and support to the FDSV Healing Practitioners, Cultural Healing Support Officers and Health Promotion Officers and reflective practice supervision to students, fostering professional development, reflective practice, and staff wellbeing.
- Manage a small, complex caseload as required, providing direct support to clients and modelling best practice in family-centred, trauma-informed care.
What You will Receive:
In return, you'll receive an attractive remuneration package (negotiable based on your skills and experience) from $118,778 to $137,698 (HP3 classification), plus 12% superannuation and a range of benefits, including:
