About the role

Join our team as an Administrative Assistant and play a vital role in supporting quality patient care. You'll provide administrative and reception services, manage outpatient bookings, maintain accurate patient records and documentation, and help streamline departmental processes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an efficient, patient-focused healthcare environment.

Key duties of the role

  • Provide a front-line reception service to the department.
  • Ensuring that enquiries regarding patient welfare are dealt with promptly.
  • Process billings for all appointments using department system.
  • Book patients follow up appointments.
  • Collect, maintain, track, and return case notes.

Skills and Experience

  • Work effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience with the use of windows and Microsoft Office products; e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Experience in providing a confidential secretarial and personal administrative support service.
  • Experience in typing reports, letters, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and under limited direction to meet deadlines and achieve agreed outputs.
