Primary Objective:

Uses expert nursing skills in the assessment, diagnosis and management of a person’s health needs within relevant clinical specialty area. Provides senior leadership and reference point for best practice in matters of clinical importance across a specialist client population. Whilst a postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy, all applicants will be assessed. If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term. One vacancy is available in Nhulunbuy, either ongoing as Nurse Level 6, or fixed for 2 years as Nurse Level 5.
