The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Consultant Psychiatrists specialising in General Adult Psychiatry to join established mental health services in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment
• Manage patients with acute, chronic and complex mental health conditions
• Deliver care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings, as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary mental health teams
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors and trainees
• Contribute to clinical governance, service development and quality improvement

Candidate Requirements

• Recognised medical degree and specialist training in Psychiatry
• FRANZCP qualification or eligibility for specialist registration through the Australian specialist assessment pathway
• UK-trained Consultant Psychiatrists with CCT and MRCPsych are encouraged to apply
• Eligible for registration with AHPRA
• Excellent clinical, communication and leadership skills
