About the job General Practitioner: MMM2 and DPA

GP2Oz Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Practitioner to join a collegial primary healthcare team in Townsville, QLD. This is a full-time position with a competitive remuneration offering:

As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting consultations with patients to assess their medical conditions and provide appropriate treatment
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medications as needed
• Providing preventative care and health education to patientsManaging chronic conditions and coordinating care with specialists as required
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Participating in clinical meetings and professional development activities
• Adhering to all relevant medical laws, regulations, and ethical standards

Requirements

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the ability to gain this
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Practitioner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
• Availability to work full-time, including some evenings and weekends
