We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our professional and dedicated team within our Emergency Department ASET team.

Hornsby Hospital Emergency Department
What you'll be doing
The ASET Registered Nurse specializes in complex care for older adults in hospital Emergency Departments (EDs), and plays a key role in providing expert assessment, coordination, and education to improve outcomes, prevent readmission's, and bridge care between ED and community/aged care facilities.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
  1. Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
  4. A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
  5. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  6. An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
