Overview

Join HammondCare as a Home Care Worker and be part of an independent, not for profit organisation improving the lives of older people. This role is based in the Ulladulla region and is available on a part time or casual basis.

Location & Schedule

Ulladulla region, part time or casual. You must be available for 3 to 5 weekdays each week, either from or , Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day practical care for older people, supporting their independence in their own homes.
• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients, offering companionship.
• Travel to clients' homes using your own car, with pay of $0.99 per kilometre plus paid travel time.
• Assist with personal tasks and support clients' daily routines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in aged or community care, or a willingness to start a career in aged care.
• Valid driver's licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum third party property insurance).
• Preferred: Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, but not essential.
• Flexible and patient, able to meet changing client needs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay of $31.95 to $35.44, plus $0.99/km and paid travel time.
• Mobile phone provided and full training (no experience required).
