As an Assistant in Nursing, you will play an important role in supporting Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to deliver high-quality patient care. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, nutrition, comfort, and therapeutic engagement while contributing to a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for patients and their families.
What You'll Be Doing
·Supporting patients with personal care and activities of daily living
·Assisting with patient mobility and rehabilitation goals
·Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition to nursing staff
·Supporting patients experiencing cognitive impairment, delirium, or dementia

A little about us.
The Acute Geriatric Unit provides specialised care for older patients with complex medical, cognitive, and functional needs. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, wellbeing, and positive health outcomes for older people throughout their hospital journey.
Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital is the main referral hospital for the Shoalhaven region, providing emergency care, medical, surgical, mental health and orthopaedic services. The hospital has an Intensive Care Unit focusing on ventilated, high dependency and coronary patients, Children’s Ward and Maternity Unit, as well as a purpose-built regional Cancer Care Centre.
The hospital is currently undergoing a significant $440M redevelopment that will redefine how healthcare is delivered within the Region. Once complete in 2026, the new seven-storey Acute Services Building and refurbishments on the current hospital site will bring a focus on career development. allowing you to grow your career, acquire new skills and advance professionally as the hospital continues to develop. Within this redevelopment, a purpose-designed Mental Health Inpatient Unit will open for the first time at Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital, providing local consumers with access to comprehensive inpatient mental health care closer to home. About the role
- Build broad clinical experience through a structured rotational program across a range of areas, including General Medicine/Surgery, Cardiology, Stroke, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Aged Care and Rehabilitation
- Deliver patient-centred Occupational Therapy across the St Vincent’s Hospital campus, including assessment, goal setting, intervention, education and discharge planning in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Develop your clinical skills with dedicated support, working under the guidance of experienced Senior Occupational Therapists and receiving supervision tailored to your level of experience
- Grow your professional practice through ongoing education, clinical supervision and opportunities to contribute to quality improvement, research, service development and student supervision

About you
We welcome applications from new Occupational Therapy graduates and clinicians with no more than 12 months experience.

About the role
- Monday to Friday role, working up to 5 days per week, providing a high-quality Occupational Therapy service to inpatients across St Vincent’s Hospital, including Acute Inpatients, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care, with flexibility to support other clinical areas and participate in a weekend roster as required
- Determine patients’ occupational needs through standardised and functional assessments, designing and implementing patient-centred interventions with a focus on therapy, discharge planning and patient flow
- Contribute to the evaluation of Occupational Therapy services, including the collection of activity and outcome data
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research within Occupational Therapy
- Promote the responsible and effective use of Occupational Therapy equipment, departmental and organisational resources
About you
- Current Australian Occupational Therapy Registration (AHPRA) and a hold a current unrestricted NSW Class C Driver’s License
- Previous post-graduate Occupational Therapy experience in acute and sub-acute hospital settings across various clinical areas including neurology, general medicine/surgery, and rehabilitation within a multidisciplinary team context
- Demonstrated experience in clinical management with the ability to apply clinical reasoning skills and independent professional judgment on routine matters
- Demonstrated experience with quality improvement and a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Knowledge of current standards of Occupational Therapy clinical practice / Code of Ethics

- Hold a minimum of a Diploma in Counselling or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience working in a counselling environment.
- Demonstrated experience, and theoretical knowledge of working therapeutically with addiction, specifically gambling
- Experience in developing and delivering education and awareness programs, as well as an understanding of theoretical frameworks and models of adult education and community development.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in therapeutic and counselling skills that is applicable to addiction and trauma.

About the Role:
An opportunity to join a multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team providing recovery focused care to adult consumers experiencing mental illness. - Permanent Part-time Role – 3 days per week (0.6 FTE) with some flexibility regarding days.
- Senior Clinical Psychologist (P3) or experienced Clinical Psychologist (P2)
- Provide gold standard mental health care, via psychology discipline specific assessments, formulation and treatment.
- Provide evidence based therapeutic support to clients with a range of mental health diagnoses including mood, anxiety, psychosis, trauma and personality disorders.
- Facilitate recovery oriented, psychological therapy specific groups for clients and work with the team to identify clients requiring therapy and support.
- Work alongside another Senior Clinical Psychologist and therapy staff, as a key senior clinical team member within a thriving and collaborative multidisciplinary team.
- Offer consultation, collaborative treatment planning, and workforce learning to a team that is keen to grow and develop.
- Contribute to service development and therapy group development.
- Provide supervision and mentoring to P2 Psychologists, Clinical Psychology Registrars and/or students, as appropriate to grade and supervisor qualification.
- Receive clinical supervision from a Grade 4 or 5 senior clinical psychologist.
- Be part of a consumer-centred recovery-oriented service, which is inclusive of carers and families.
About You:
- Current AHPRA Full Registration as a Psychologist, with a Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
- For Grade 2 Clinical Psychologist role: Area of Practice Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist, or approaching completion of a registrar program working towards same.
- For Grade 3 Senior Clinical Psychologist role: a minimum of 5 years work experience post full registration; Area of Practice Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist; PBA approved Supervisor status or eligible and willing to work towards same.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to think critically and problem solve effectively.
- Knowledge and experience in different evidence based therapeutic techniques, preferably including CBT, ACT, DBT.
- Relevant training and experience in suicide risk assessment and management, drug and alcohol, and/or personality disorders.
- Knowledge of different referral pathways for clients requiring short- and long-term supports.
- A good working knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act and relevant legislation.
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid or willing to participate in the vaccination program.

About the Role - Sonographer (Grade 3)
This position is a staff sonographer position within Monash Health. This person will conduct quality clinical ultrasound examinations. The Sonographer will assist in the education of trainee sonographers, registrars and other appropriate staff. Sonographers are expected to work within the multi-disciplinary team at Monash Health to maintain quality outcomes and efficient workflow.
We are seeking an ultrasound professional who has completed a recognised ultrasound training program and performs high quality ultrasound examinations. This is demonstrated by accurate diagnostic decision making, informed and open liaison with radiologists and sonographers, efficient workflow and patient care. Their ability to show initiative assists the clinical provision of ultrasound within Monash Health. The Sonographer is part of the ultrasound team, actively participating in the educational and quality activities of the department.

About the Role
We are excited to announce we are seeking applications for a Graduate Exercise Physiologist within the Allied Health Mental Health Graduate Program.
This 12-month position, will include two rotations across a range of mental health areas including child, youth, adult and older adults in both community and inpatient settings. This will assist you in developing fundamental assessment, formulation and treatment skills.
A dedicated Exercise Physiologist Clinical Educator and a learning package will assist the incumbent to develop both discipline specific and broader mental health knowledge and skills required for ongoing work in mental health care.
This position will require the incumbent to work in any clinical area at any Monash Health site as and when required.
About You
You are someone who has a genuine interest in beginning and developing your Allied Health career in Mental Health Care. You will be an early career clinician in Exercise Physiology with less than 2 years professional experience and the following skills:

The Mental Health Program serves consumers, their carers and families across the south eastern metropolitan region with bed-based, community and rehabilitation programs. The service covers the age spectrum in its entirety, offering client centred programs for 0-25yo in Infant Child and Youth, and over 18 years for Adult and Older Adult Services. We also provide specialist services for eating disorders, treatment and support for expectant mothers and mothers with new born babies, a gender dysphoria clinic, dual disability services and neuro-developmental assessment team.

Older Adult Mental Health offers specialised treatment, care and support to older individuals with intricate and compounded mental health requirements, typically associated with the aging process. The focus of the position is to provide evidence-based neuropsychological services to consumers who are experiencing disturbances in memory, thinking, and behaviour associated either with their primary mental health disorder (e.g. schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, personality disorder, depression, anxiety or Bipolar Affective Disorder) and/or co-existing neurodegenerative condition (such as Alzheimer's Disease, Vascular Dementia and Fronto-temporal dementia). About the Role
Join our team as a Food Services Assistant on a part time, ongoing to work at Boollam Boollam Aged care based at Heatherton. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the Chef Manager and working with the broader Support Services team.
FSAs play a vital role in providing high-quality meal services to patients and supporting overall patient nutrition and food safety. FSAs are responsible for the preparation and delivery of meals, cleaning of food service areas, all whilst ensuring patient’s dietary needs are met accurately and efficiently. FSAs contribute to patient care by ensuring meals are delivered on time, safely, accurately and with respect.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Delivering and collecting meal trays and Burlodge trolleys to and from service areas
- Regenerating and preparing meals in line with production and clinical needs, including special functions
- Cleaning and sanitising food trays, food preparation areas, and kitchen equipment
- Operating dishwashers and other food service equipment safely and efficiently

Child and Youth Mental Health Services | Tasmanian Department of Health
The Role
Undertaking clinical services through the provision of complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs for our new programs in either Youth Mental Health, Youth Forensic Mental Health and/or Out of Home Care.
Working alongside innovative managers, clinical leads and consultant psychiatrists to develop the new mental health services in Tasmania.
Working with an amazing and diverse group of clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required.
Applicants who have undertaken training in relevant and appropriate evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are developmentally appropriate such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy and/or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) would be highly regarded.
You will:
- Undertake the delivery of quality care to clients of Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) based on best practice principles and within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary framework.
- Provide a specialist assessment and treatment service to clients of CYMHS and their families or carers.
- Promote community awareness in relation to mental health and acts as a consultant to other agencies with regard to the support and management of clients with mental health needs.

- Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association
- Current Working with Children Registration
