Child and Youth Mental Health Services Aim:
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist with extensive knowledge, understanding and experience in forensic mental health issues and risks, specifically in relation to young people, and their families/carers, presenting with complex mental health concerns and/or complex behaviours of concern. This new position has been developed as a recommendation from the recent Commission of Inquiry Report (Tasmania) to support young people in youth detention who require trauma-informed psychological intervention. The Senior Clinical Psychologist will have a passion for providing a person-centred approach and working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
As part of CYMHS Reform, clinical services in Tasmania are under development with many exciting professional, developmental and research opportunities available.
This position is based in Launceston in the new Divert and Connect Program which is currently in the early stages of development. This role will provide you with the opportunity to assist in implementing new programs in Northern Tasmania, working collaboratively with other government and non-government services. Travel to Ashley Youth Detention Centre will be required as part of this role.
The Role
- Provide comprehensive evidence-based clinical assessment, treatment, and assertive case management service, including the development and implementation of specialist treatment programs and group programs, and the provision of formal psychological reports as required.
- Provide high quality, timely evidence based written court assessment reports for young people appearing in Tasmanian Courts in relation to offences.
- Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team from a case management framework, including outreach and case management reviews, to ensure continuity of care and best practice outcomes for young people detained in youth detention.
You will need
- A minimum of five years post graduate experience, with extensive knowledge, understanding and experience of forensic mental health issues and risks in relation to young people and their families/carers presenting with complex mental health concerns and/or complex behaviours of concern with a proven ability to conduct high level clinical assessments including demonstrated problem solving, advanced therapeutic interventions and the development of comprehensive management plans and court reports.
- Proven high level interpersonal skills including oral and written communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and decision making, together with the ability to develop comprehensive oral and written reports.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of effective liaison and consultation with other services and agencies in the context of providing specialised mental health assessment, advice, and training.

Providence Manor is a 243-bed long-term care home located in downtown Kingston. The home provides care for residents who have stable medical conditions, but require 24-hour nursing care.
The Personal Support Worker (PSW), under the direction of the Assistant Director of Care, Charge RN, RN or RPN, is the primary front-line monitor of resident well- being and reports any changes in resident status or concerns to the registered nursing staff. The PSW assists in the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care on assigned Resident Home Areas. Duties are discharged in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values of Providence Care Centre, the Resident's Bill of Rights, and the requirements of-the Fixing Long Term Care Act and Regulations. The PSW delivers basic nursing and hygiene care for residents and assists them with activities of daily living, based on assessed needs and care-plan requirements
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Successful completion of a Personal Support Worker Diploma/Certificate Program from an accredited educational institution
- Prior working or practicum experience in a long-term care home or community support services program, preferred

- Prior work experience and training in dementia care and palliative care, preferred

The Team:Child and Youth Mental Health Services Aim:
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist with extensive knowledge, understanding and experience in forensic mental health issues and risks, specifically in relation to young people, and their families/carers, presenting with complex mental health concerns and/or complex behaviours of concern. You will have a proven ability to conduct high level clinical assessments, including the development of comprehensive management plans and completion of court reports. This new position has been developed as a recommendation from the recent Commission of Inquiry Report (Tasmania) to support young people in youth detention who require trauma-informed psychological intervention. The Senior Clinical Psychologist will have a passion for providing a person-centred approach and working within a multidisciplinary team environment. As part of CYMHS Reform, clinical services in Tasmania are under development with many exciting professional, developmental and research opportunities available. This position is based in Launceston in the new Divert and Connect Program which is currently in the early stages of development. This role will provide you with the opportunity to assist in implementing new programs in Northern Tasmania, working collaboratively with other government and non-government services. Travel to Ashley Youth Detention Centre will be required as part of this role.
The Role- Provide comprehensive evidence-based clinical assessment, treatment, and assertive case management service, including the development and implementation of specialist treatment programs and group programs, and the provision of formal psychological reports as required.
- Provide high quality, timely evidence based written court assessment reports for young people appearing in Tasmanian Courts in relation to offences.
- Work as a member of the multidisciplinary team from a case management framework, including outreach and case management reviews, to ensure continuity of care and best practice outcomes for young people detained in youth detention.
- A minimum of five years post graduate experience, with extensive knowledge, understanding and experience of forensic mental health issues and risks in relation to young people and their families/carers presenting with complex mental health concerns and/or complex behaviours of concern with a proven ability to conduct high level clinical assessments including demonstrated problem solving, advanced therapeutic interventions and the development of comprehensive management plans and court reports.
- Proven high level interpersonal skills including oral and written communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and decision making, together with the ability to develop comprehensive oral and written reports.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of effective liaison and consultation with other services and agencies in the context of providing specialised mental health assessment, advice, and training.

The Team
The Pharmacy Education and Development team work as part of the broader pharmacy leadership team to establish and promote the positive culture of being a learning organisation to ensure that pharmacy services deliver relevant education, professional development and training frameworks for pharmacy staff, including pharmacy interns, early career pharmacists and new to hospital pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
The Role
- Lead the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of pharmacy education programs
- Build capacity for the pharmacy service to provide high quality training programs
- Where required, establish relationships with universities and act as the interface between the pharmacy service and the university regarding pre-entry student placements
- Work with existing structures in the department to provide clinical leadership, support and supervision to pharmacy interns, pharmacy technicians, early career pharmacists and pharmacists transitioning to hospital practice

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at HammondCare Cardiff, our specialised purpose-built dementia-specific residential care home.

What will I be doing?
- Working in a part-time clinical role, mentoring, leading and supporting a team of Specialised Dementia Carers.
- Partnering with fellow clinical leaders to ensure high-quality resident care and positive team outcomes.
- Providing clinical assessments and contributing to care planning to support the changing needs of residents.
- Supporting clinical decision-making and providing professional nursing oversight.
- Implementing and promoting comfort-focused care approaches.
- Building meaningful relationships with residents in line with HammondCare's unique Model of Care.
- Championing best practice dementia care and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What do I need to be successful?
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Ideally 2 to 3 years' experience within an Aged Care environment.
- A passion for improving the quality of life of older people living with dementia.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also demonstrating initiative and independence.
- Patience, empathy and a commitment to person-centred care.

HammondCare Woy Woy is currently looking for a 3 day per week Peramenent Part-time Physiotherapist to join our team.
As a Physiotherapist you will work within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure a high standard of Physiotherapy service is provided to residents at our residential homes, along with appropriate support and advice to our dedicated team of Carer’s. You will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a resident centred, evidence based, continuous quality of care that is consistent with the values and ethics of HammondCare and the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
The Essence of the role:
- The role is 3 week days per week Part-time, days are negotiatable
- This role is primarily based in Woy Woy and involves regular travel to support residents at both our Woy Woy and Erina residential locations
- Assist residents in maintaining optimal function and wellbeing and where appropriate, in restoring lost function
- Provide effective and efficient Physiotherapy service to residents and appropriate support and advice to carers and HammondCare staff.
- To assess residents’ level of functional mobility and care needs, setting care goals and providing appropriate treatment.

- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated organisation and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
