Position details
The Team:
The Community Forensic Mental Health Service is seeking a dedicated psychologist to join our specialist team providing psychological input to individuals involved in the criminal justice system. This is a great opportunity to be part of Tasmania’s only community based forensic mental health team, delivering evidence-based care, risk assessments, and professional consultation to a wide range of stakeholders.
The Role:
In this role, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including for risk (e.g. physical violence, sexual offending, stalking, etc.), psychological functioning, personality, and cognitive abilities.
- Provide court-ordered psychological reports and expert opinions
- Deliver consultation and support to broader multidisciplinary mental health services and justice partners.
- Work collaboratively with a skilled and supportive statewide team.

You will need
We’re looking for a motivated and skilled psychologist who:
- High level demonstrated knowledge of contemporary clinical psychological practice especially as they relate within a forensic setting.
- Has experience in evidence-based risk assessments, working with complex risk presentations, and intervention treatment models with complex populations (e.g., CBT, DBT, Schema, EMDR)
- Holds clinical or forensic endorsement (preferred but not required)
- Has strong assessment, formulation, and report writing skills.
- Enjoys working in multidisciplinary teams and values professional collaboration.
- High level consultation, liaison and negotiation skills including experience in developing collaborative working relationships with other service providers to ensure best client outcome.

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary
$117,272 to $126,182 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2025.
Salary Packaging
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Allowances
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $123,487 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1200 per annum, paid on a fortnightly, pro rata basis.
- Correctional Allowance of 6.5%

Grade 2 Clinical Trials Pharmacist

About the Role
This role will support the use of Clinical Trial and Investigational Medicines at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne through the day-to-day management and delivery of clinical trial pharmacy services. Working primarily within the Cancer Clinical Trials team, you will also provide leave coverage for the non-cancer clinical trials team. You will work closely with senior clinical trials pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and multidisciplinary research teams to ensure the safe and effective delivery of clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day management of clinical trials, including dispensing, drug accountability and investigational medicine preparation.
Participate in clinical trial training, quality improvement and quality assurance activities.
Assist the Grade 3 Cancer Clinical Trials Pharmacist with the set-up and closure of clinical trials.
Assist with billing and financial reporting for clinical trials under the supervision of senior clinical trials pharmacists.
Supervise pharmacy technicians working within clinical trials.
Act as the pharmacy representative on the Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) on a rotational basis.
Provide clinical research knowledge, expertise and support across the Pharmacy Department.
Contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality and patient-focused clinical trial pharmacy services.
Classification: SX2–SX5 ($94,478.80 - $106,906.80 per annum, pro rata for part time).

About the Role
This role will support the use of Clinical Trial and Investigational Medicines at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne through the day-to-day management and delivery of clinical trial pharmacy services. Working primarily within the Cancer Clinical Trials team, you will also provide leave coverage for the non-cancer clinical trials team. You will work closely with senior clinical trials pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and multidisciplinary research teams to ensure the safe and effective delivery of clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day management of clinical trials, including dispensing, drug accountability and investigational medicine preparation.
Participate in clinical trial training, quality improvement and quality assurance activities.
Assist the Grade 3 Cancer Clinical Trials Pharmacist with the set-up and closure of clinical trials.
Assist with billing and financial reporting for clinical trials under the supervision of senior clinical trials pharmacists.
Supervise pharmacy technicians working within clinical trials.
Act as the pharmacy representative on the Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) on a rotational basis.
Provide clinical research knowledge, expertise and support across the Pharmacy Department.
Contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality and patient-focused clinical trial pharmacy services.
Classification: SX2–SX5 ($94,478.80 - $106,906.80 per annum, pro rata for part time).

This position has a primary focus of working with children and young people and providing specialised counselling to children, young people who are experiencing impacts from parental separation and high conflict including domestic and family violence.
You will provide a range of high-quality age-appropriate interventions including assessment; individual and group counselling; and psycho-education and therapeutic supports to children and young people (under 18 years) who are experiencing difficulties related to family relationships and changes
in family structure. The position also plays a key role in connecting children and their families with other relevant services through effective referrals and collaborations.

The Role

With our unique model of care which places the residents’ needs as your number one priority, you will help create a home away from home for our residents. This role requires you to provide tailored care including personal support within the residential home.
You will be responsible for:
- Personal care – showering, grooming, toileting etc
- Provide life engagement

All new staff will complete an onsite orientation with a Workplace Trainer, have buddy shifts and be supported by experienced Registered Nurses and Managers on site.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacist Team Lead to join our hospital pharmacy team and provide leadership for our Compounding Services. As the Team Lead, you will provide operational and professional leadership to the compounding pharmacy workforce, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant preparation of sterile medicines. You will work collaboratively with pharmacy, nursing, and medical teams to support optimal patient outcomes and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily operations of the hospital's compounding service.
Provide clinical, operational, and professional leadership to pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, guidelines, and accreditation requirements.
Oversee quality assurance, risk management, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Support workforce development through staff training, mentoring, and performance management.
Drive service innovation and optimisation to improve efficiency, safety, and patient care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to meet the specialised medication needs of patients.
Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and service expansion initiatives.
About You
You are an experienced pharmacist with a strong background in compounding services and a passion for leadership. You are recognised for your ability to build high-performing teams, foster a culture of safety and excellence, and deliver outstanding patient-focused services.
Essential Requirements:
Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.
Significant experience in sterile and/or non-sterile compounding within a hospital or healthcare setting.
Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
Postgraduate qualifications or advanced training in pharmacy practice, management, oncology, manufacturing, or quality systems.
Experience leading aseptic, chemotherapy, or specialised compounding services.
Experience in service development, project management, or accreditation activities.
