About the Role
As a Health Assistant (Nursing), you will work under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) or equivalent. You will work as an assistant and support person to the Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to provide delegated aspects of direct and non-direct patient care.
- Assist with personal hygiene, nutritional needs, and mobility, transfers and positioning within the ward
- Maintain a safe patient environment
- Assist with making beds (not discharge and admission) and keeping the ward tidy
- Communicate effectively with patients, families and the wider team
Classifications for this position will range from IN37 - IN39 ($59,282- $68, 384per annum).
Your Contribution

About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy Department at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.
As part of our supportive and collaborative team, you will participate in a structured rotational program across the Fitzroy, Kew and Hawthorn campuses, gaining experience in a broad range of clinical areas including:

Cardiorespiratory
Emergency

Rehabilitation
Rotations typically occur every four months, providing excellent opportunities to develop diverse clinical skills and experience across acute, sub-acute and rehabilitation settings.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy assessment and management within your allocated clinical area, while contributing to multidisciplinary care and service improvement initiatives.

Please note that cross-campus work, weekend shifts and public holiday participation are required as part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Physiotherapist to join the St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne Physiotherapy Department, providing casual weekday leave cover across our Fitzroy, Kew and Hawthorn campuses. Working across a variety of acute and subacute clinical areas, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and management to patients while supporting continuity of care across the service. This is a great opportunity for a Physiotherapist who enjoys clinical variety and flexibility and is confident working across different patient cohorts and multidisciplinary teams.
You will have the opportunity to draw on your broad clinical experience while contributing to a cohesive and progressive Physiotherapy Department committed to excellence in patient care, education, research and professional development. The role also provides opportunities to support and supervise Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants and Physiotherapy students as required. Applications are welcomed from current Grade 2 Physiotherapists or suitably experienced Grade 1 Physiotherapists who are ready to take the next step in their career. Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Classification: Physiotherapist Grade 2 VB1–VB4 ($45.65 - $52.50 per hour plus a casual loading fee of 25%).
What You Will Do
As a Grade 2 Physiotherapist, you will:
Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and clinical management for delegated patients
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
Provide education and support to patients, families and carers as appropriate
Communicate assessment findings, treatment plans and outcomes effectively with nursing, medical and Allied Health colleagues through clinical documentation and handovers
Work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated, person-centred care
Provide clinical supervision, support and mentoring to Grade 1 Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants as required
Provide clinical education and supervision to undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy students
Contribute to service development, quality improvement and new initiatives within the Physiotherapy Department
Work flexibly across St Vincent’s Fitzroy, Kew and Hawthorn campuses according to service needs
Your Contribution
You are an experienced and adaptable Physiotherapist who is comfortable working across a range of clinical environments and enjoys contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
You will bring:
Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist, or eligibility to obtain registration
Recent clinical experience and demonstrated knowledge of physiotherapy management across a broad range of acute and/or subacute healthcare settings
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Strong clinical assessment, treatment and decision-making skills
Experience providing clinical supervision and support to Physiotherapy students and/or junior staff

About the Role
Are you a Dietitian looking for an opportunity to make a real and lasting impact?
Join our Secure Extended Care Unit (SECU), where nutrition plays an important role in supporting recovery, wellbeing and successful community reintegration.Â
As part of a collaborative team that includes Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Exercise Physiologists, Music Therapists, Psychiatrists and Nurses, you will play a pivotal role in delivering dietetic services that support consumers’ recovery and promote reintegration into the community.
You will play an integral role within SECU, providing comprehensive nutrition assessment, intervention and monitoring to support consumers’ physical health, mental wellbeing and recovery goals. This includes completing initial dietetic assessments, developing and reviewing individualised nutrition care plans, and providing ongoing dietetic management for consumers with a range of nutrition-related conditions and concerns. The Dietitian contributes specialist expertise to the multidisciplinary team by participating in clinical reviews, case discussions and care planning, supporting the management of nutrition-related illnesses, monitoring nutritional outcomes, and partnering with Diabetes Educators to ensure consumers with diabetes receive appropriate education and support. Also contributing to the ward’s group program and promotes healthy lifestyle interventions in collaboration with the broader rehabilitation team.
About Us
The Secure Extended Care Unit (SECU) is a 50 bed unit based at Dandenong Hospital that provides medium to long-term inpatient treatment and rehabilitation for people who have continuous and severe symptoms of mental illness. Monash Health SECU accepts people from the catchment areas of; Eastern Health, Peninsula Health, Monash Health and Alfred Health. Our collaborative multi-disciplinary team is made up of; Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Clinical and Neuro Psychologists, Exercise Physiologist, Dietician, Music Therapist, Psychiatrists and Mental Health Nurses. The multi-disciplinary team provide treatment and psychosocial rehabilitation programs optimising individual function, for return to community living. NDIS plays an integral part in providing psychosocial support and care for our consumers and families during their stay supporting community transition.

About the RoleÂ
We are looking for a Grade 1 Social Worker to join our Adult Acute Social Work team at Casey Hospital in a full-time position.
This is an exciting opportunity to build your clinical skills in a busy acute hospital environment while being surrounded by an experienced, supportive and collaborative Social Work team. About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist Grade 2 to join our team part-time ongoing at Monash Health in a 0.8EFT position. You will be working within the geriatric evaluation and management (GEM) stream to provide meaningful intervention to older frail adults.
You’ll be part of a large, supportive subacute service, delivering high-quality occupational therapy in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This is an exciting time to work in GEM with several model of care changes that look at making a real impact to the frail older population. This role is fast-paced, rewarding, and integral to delivering exceptional rehabilitation outcomes.
As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll empower patients to engage in meaningful activities and improve their quality of life. Your day will include:
- Conducting occupational assessments
- Collaboratively setting goals with patients and the multidisciplinary team
- Delivering occupation-based interventions that have a real impact
You’ll work closely with allied health, nursing, and medical staff in a supportive environment that encourages shared learning and joint treatment planning. You will have supervision and support to have hands on clinical learning with:
- Grade 2 peers
- Grade 3 occupational therapists
- Clinical educators
- Clinical grade 4 specialists
About you
You’re a compassionate and skilled clinician who thrives in a team environment and is committed to delivering exceptional care. You bring:
- A patient-centred approach to care
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in subacute clinical settings and experience with a neurological caseload desired
- A passion for enhancing occupational performance and patient experience

- Interest in evidence-based practice, research, and service improvement
