We are seeking resourceful and collaborative Psychosocial Disability Support Workers for permanent part time (22.5 hours per week), opportunities located in Wonthaggi. You will deliver personalised support services and work collaboratively with participants to achieve their recovery and capacity building goals through one-to-one support, shared supports, workshops and group work facilitation to enhance recovery, personal growth and activities of daily living.
Key responsibilities
- Work with participants to imagine and live a meaningful life by supporting them through a staged approach to recovery
- Plan and develop group work programs that will assist participants to build their skills, focus on their recovery, wellbeing and capacity building
- Support family and carers through understanding their concerns and the provision of information, education and referrals

Join HammondCare as a Home Care Worker and be part of an independent, not for profit organisation improving the lives of older people. This role is based in the Ulladulla region and is available on a part time or casual basis.
Location & ScheduleUlladulla region, part time or casual. You must be available for 3 to 5 weekdays each week, either from or , Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities- Provide day to day practical care for older people, supporting their independence in their own homes.
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients, offering companionship.
- Travel to clients' homes using your own car, with pay of $0.99 per kilometre plus paid travel time.
- Assist with personal tasks and support clients' daily routines.
- Previous experience in aged or community care, or a willingness to start a career in aged care.
- Valid driver's licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum third party property insurance).
- Preferred: Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, but not essential.
- Flexible and patient, able to meet changing client needs.
- Hourly pay of $31.95 to $35.44, plus $0.99/km and paid travel time.
- Mobile phone provided and full training (no experience required).
- Salary packaging (for part time only): $15,900 annually for living expenses plus up to $2,650 each year for entertainment benefits.
