If you're a physiotherapist who finds meaning in restoring independence and function for older adults in their own environment, this part-time contract role offers exactly that kind of work.
About the role:
Reporting to the Advanced Nurse Unit Manager - GEM at Home, this role will be involved in the delivery of goal-focused, restorative physiotherapy to older people in their homes — helping them regain confidence, mobility, and independence after an acute event or functional decline.
Duties for the role will include:
- Assessing patients’ physical abilities, problems and goals using a variety of formal and informal assessments.
- Participating in interdisciplinary clinical and planning activities to enhance the overall service provided to patients
- Providing information to patients and/or relatives about level of functioning and ongoing management
- Providing a consultative service advice regarding Physiotherapy to other team members, disciplines and agencies
- Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers.
About you:
- A degree or other qualification which entitles registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
- Experience as a clinician in the assessment and provision of high-quality Physiotherapy services to clients with a variety of conditions requiring a restorative approach
- Ability to assess and provide appropriate Physio-therapeutic management to the patients of the GEM at Home service with increasing levels of complexity
- Evaluate issues related to Physiotherapy care in a manner which can be applied to quality activities, service evaluation, professional education or research with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- High levels of responsibility and organisational skills including the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, delegate appropriately. This includes the ability to supervise students and allied health assistants.
- High level interpersonal, negotiating, counselling and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate with clients, other professional staff and community agencies both verbally and in writing.

In May 2026, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead opened a brand new Surgical Short Stay Unit within our state-of-the-art Wattle Building. This purpose-built 12-bed unit cares for children undergoing short stay surgery, as well as the initial 24-hour care for high-acuity and complex surgical procedures. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Paediatric Assistsnt in Nursing to be part of this exciting new service.
What you'll be doing
The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) role assists in the provision of basic nursing care, working within a plan of care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) within a team setting. AIN’s are not to be allocated their own patients. AIN’s are not to be assigned patients where one to one therapeutic nursing supervision is prescribed.
The AIN is responsible for assisting in the delivery of quality individualised care to patients at The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) within the guidelines set by the NSW Department of Health, the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council Framework, The SCHN – Division of Nursing and within the limits of the AIN position description.
The AIN will:
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrate ethical behaviour in their performance
•Understand and respect patients’ rights.
• Provide evidence of completion of annual mandatory training.
• Practice within the NSW Health guidelines, the position description and guidelines for the SCHN and are required to adhere to Policies and Procedures.
• Adhere to the NSW Health Code of Conduct.

The Team

Epworth Rehabilitation has an exciting part-time fixed term opportunity for a Grade 1 Social Worker looking to further develop their clinical skills and healthcare experience within a leading hospital setting. The role is based at Epworth Hawthorn in the area of multi-trauma orthopaedic rehabilitation and is a fixed term position of 30.4 hours per week until November 2027.
The successful applicant will provide excellence in patient care to patients and their families. - Normally have at least 7 years’ post qualifying experience

About the Role:
Join our team as a Grade 3 Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist (AMP)! We have a full time, parental leave cover position available, extending from 23/11/2026 until 24/11/2027.
Based mainly across Casey Hospital, Dandenong Hospital and Monash Medical Centre/Monash Children's Hospital, you will provide advanced assessment, clinical reasoning and management of adult and paediatric musculoskeletal presentations within the Emergency Department setting. Depending on your experience and operational requirements, opportunities may also extend to outpatient services across Dandenong, Casey and Moorabbin Hospitals.
Work collaboratively with senior medical and specialty teams, including those from the Emergency Department (ED) and specialty teams, such as Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery, to ensure the best care for Monash Health patients. Primarily working in the ED, you may also have the opportunity to work in our Advanced Practice Screening Clinics, such as Osteoarthritis Hip and Knee Service (OAHKS) and the Back & Neck Clinic.

The Ambulatory Care Centre (ACC) is a busy and diverse outpatient service supporting more than 40 specialty clinics and around 600 patient presentations each day. About the role
Following completion of orientation and training, the successful applicant will work as part of the nursing team to support the delivery of patient care within the outpatient setting.
Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, duties may include:
· Preparing clinic rooms and equipment
· Maintaining stock and clinical supplies
· Assisting with patient care and clinic flow
· Cleaning and maintaining equipment
· Supporting the nursing team with general clinical and administrative tasks
· Assisting with equipment repairs and maintenance processes
· Other duties within the AIN scope of practice and as delegated by the Registered Nurse
The successful applicant will be responsible for their own actions and accountable to the Registered Nurse for allocated duties.

Position details
The Team
The Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS) offers a specialised counselling and support to assist adults, children and young people, children who have experienced family violence. This service is part of the Safe at Home service system, with a strong focus on the safety and well-being of victim survivors of family violence.
The Role
- Assist children and young people to recover from their experience of family violence trauma through the delivery of evidence based and family violence trauma informed therapeutic counselling and support. This will include a range of developmental and age appropriate techniques and tools within a counselling/therapeutic setting.
- Contribute to and participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of group programs.
- Provide information and support, referral and advice to clients and other service providers.
You will need
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and practice experience of family violence trauma and its impact on the developmental needs of children and young people, together with the ability to assess complex dynamics and risk and safety assessments within a specialist family violence framework.
- Demonstrated ability to work therapeutically with children and young people who have complex needs, including the ability to work effectively with family members and other service providers in a complex care context.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment and initiative, work with general supervision and seek guidance as appropriate.

Details of appointment
Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 10 September 2027.

Salary
$81,614 to $117,074 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Allowances
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $115,529 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1200 per annum, paid on a fortnightly, pro rata basis.
