About the role
This permanent part-time Senior Pharmacist (Grade 3) role is three days per week and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Hospital Pharmacy Service at Neringah Hospital in Wahroonga, and other HammondCare Health & Hospital sites if required.
In performing their duties the Pharmacist will be required to work in accordance with established procedures at each site and be able to use judgement and discretion about work organisation. The person employed in this position must operate in a manner consistent with Pharmacy department policies, practice standards and legislative requirements.
HammondCare is a NSW Health-affiliated organisation all NSW Health transferrable entitlements will be recognised.
The essence of this role is to provide pharmacy services to the patients and staff:
- Distribution -Accurate and timely provision of medications for inpatients, outpatients and at discharge
- Clinical -Provide clinical pharmacy services to ensure quality use of medications by patients and staff
- Education - Provide appropriate education to patients and other staff about medication
- Research and training -Participate in research and training to improve medication knowledge and use
About you
- Appropriate Qualification in Pharmacy
- Registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Agency (AHPRA)
- Recent experience in hospital pharmacy practice
- Strong background in Palliative Care and end-of-life care pharmacy practice (Desirable)
- Ability to work independently, on your own and as part of a team
- Experience with iPharmacy
- Sound knowledge of Commonwealth and NSW Pharmacy and Therapeutic Goods legislation and relevant statutory requirements applicable to the practice of Pharmacy and the handling of pharmaceuticals in NSW public hospitals
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to problem-solve
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and with all members of the healthcare team
- Ability to be flexible and adapt work practices to suit circumstances
- Strong administrative and computer skills

The Role
The position requires the employee to undertake activities for which they have the legal authority and competence to perform. The person performing the delegated activity is accountable for his or her own actions and to the General Practitioner (GP) and Registered Nurse (RN). Supervision means the direction and guidance given by a RN to an Assistant in Nursing (AIN). The supervision may be direct or indirect according to the nature of the work delegated to the AIN.
The position holder will work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (the Network) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) & Juvenile Justice rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation.
Our Location
The Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre (MRRC) is a maximum-security correctional facility for male offenders and is one of 3 correctional facilities within the Silverwater Correctional Complex in Sydney. Inmates who arrive at the MRRC:
- Come directly from court on remand
- Stay at the MRRC while they attend court in the Sydney Metropolitan Area (before returning to their home correctional centre)
- Stay at the MRRC while they await a vacancy at a centre matching their classification.
Most offenders leave the centre within a few months of their arrival, usually because they obtain bail (and release) or transfer centre

About the Role
Are you graduating in Physiotherapy and ready to begin your career in a supportive, diverse and rewarding hospital environment? St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne is seeking enthusiastic New Graduate Physiotherapists to join our Physiotherapy Department in January 2027. We have three full-time, fixed-term Grade 1 positions available as part of our 24-month rotating new graduate program. This is an exciting opportunity to build your clinical skills and confidence while gaining broad experience across a leading tertiary health service. You will join a friendly and supportive Physiotherapy Department with a strong focus on clinical learning, professional development and evidence-based practice.
Throughout the program, you will generally rotate every four months across a variety of clinical areas, which may include:

As a Grade 1 Physiotherapist, you will provide high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy assessment and management while working closely with experienced Physiotherapists and the broader multidisciplinary team. The role includes rostered weekend and public holiday work, and applicants must be willing to work across St Vincent’s campuses as required. Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) prior to commencement.
Classification: Physiotherapist Grade 1 VA3–VA7 ($70,590.00 - $85,872.80 per annum).
What You Will Do
As a New Graduate Physiotherapist, you will:
Provide evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management for patients within your allocated clinical area
Develop your clinical reasoning and physiotherapy skills across a broad range of rotations
Work collaboratively with Physiotherapists, medical, nursing and other Allied Health professionals to deliver coordinated patient care
Communicate effectively with patients, families, carers and members of the multidisciplinary team
Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical handovers and care planning
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Represent physiotherapy and patient needs at relevant team, family and departmental meetings
Participate in professional development, education and learning opportunities within the department
Contribute to quality improvement and service development initiatives
Work across St Vincent’s campuses and participate in rostered weekend and public holiday services as required

This position has a primary focus of working with children and young people and providing specialised counselling to children, young people who are experiencing impacts from parental separation and high conflict including domestic and family violence.
You will provide a range of high-quality age-appropriate interventions including assessment; individual and group counselling; and psycho-education and therapeutic supports to children and young people (under 18 years) who are experiencing difficulties related to family relationships and changes in family structure. The position also plays a key role in connecting children and their families with other relevant services through effective referrals and collaborations.
What makes a difference for us?
- Tertiary qualifications (minimum Bachelor) in a relevant human services field, with membership or eligible membership of an appropriate professional body (e.g. AASW, APS, PACFA Member Association) preferred and significant relevant experience

About the opportunity
The Occupational Therapy department at WMH offers a supportive environment that promotes a culture of learning and development, with various opportunities for career progression. The friendly WMH OT teams consists of 28 dedicated clinicians who provide referral based holistic care to the emergency department, short stay unit, acute, subacute, community (Health Independence Program, Commonwealth Home Support Program & Support at Home) and outpatient hand therapy clients.

A Grade 3 OT will be responsible for ensuring high‑quality service delivery, including assessment, intervention planning, and evaluation of outcomes. About the opportunity
This role provides professional occupational therapy leadership to MMH&WS staff and promotes best clinical practice of MMH&WS occupational therapists.
The position also has a role in contributing to mental health service development, including membership of relevant leadership and governance meetings. Providing high level advice to the Mental Health leadership on mental health professional occupational therapist standards, workforce requirements and associated clinical service delivery.
- Promote the provision of best clinical practice of occupational therapist and other direct-care staff through professional and clinical skill development
- Ensure the provision of professional mentorship, discipline specific supervision and support to mental health occupational therapists
- Represent occupational therapists on the required MMH&WS committees, or as delegated

About the role

About you
Hold a degree in Social Work and be eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), with demonstrated clinical experience in a tertiary hospital or health-related setting

Understanding of and practical experience in crisis intervention, short-term solution-focused approaches, and grief and loss support

About the Role
Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a real impact in community care? We’re seeking an enthusiastic clinician to join our innovative team, helping patients receive high-quality, person-centred care from the comfort of their own homes. We have an opportunity for a Grade 1 Occupational Therapist on a full- time, permanent basis (1.0 EFT / 80 hours per fortnight). Based across Kingston Centre (Heatherton) and Cranbourne sites.
In this role, you’ll provide best-practice, evidence-based care through face-to-face and/or Telehealth/telephone assessments and interventions for patients admitted to the service. You’ll work collaboratively with a supportive multidisciplinary team to ensure effective and compassionate. Your day-to-day will include:
- Providing high standard assessment, intervention, and coordination of services, aids, and equipment to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care
- Contributing to the planning, development, and evaluation of evidence-based Occupational Therapy services
- Working collaboratively within an interprofessional team to achieve optimal patient outcomes

About Us
Monash at Home - Aged and Rehabilitation Care (ARC) is a dynamic service that delivers care to patients within their own home. The team consists of Medical, Nursing, Allied Health, Pharmacy, Psychology and Administration staff. We provide an alternative to inpatient care, providing safe and high quality home based services for individuals with complex medical, functional and cognitive issues, who require comprehensive, medically led multidisciplinary assessment and intervention within the comfort of their own home. We are a 40 bed services that covers the Monash Health catchment. Operating out of two sites, Kingston Centre (Heatherton) and Cranbourne, staff are required to work flexibly across both sites to meet patient needs.
Patients within the service receive daily nursing visits. Medical, allied health, neuropsychology, and pharmacy teams also provide face-to-face or Telehealth consultations, depending on individual needs. In addition, patients have access to 24-hour telephone support.
About You
You’re an Occupational Therapist who is excited by the opportunity to take your skills beyond the traditional hospital setting and support people where it matters most — in their own home.
You’ll enjoy getting to know the person behind the referral, understanding how they live day to day and finding practical, meaningful ways to support their safety, independence and quality of life. As a Health Care Worker, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality, and person-centred care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your role will focus on providing basic personal care, assisting with daily activities, and supporting residents to maintain independence in a safe and inclusive environment.

- Deliver high-standard, person-centred care in line with assessed competencies

- Observe and report changes in residents’ condition or incidents to the Nurse in Charge

About You

Scanning and generating Imprest orders, receiving and delivering stock to Imprest wards and processing invoices
Conducting expiry checks and ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely (predominantly pharmacy supplies)
Assisting as directed with EOFY stocktakes and rolling stocktakes as well as performing other warehouse duties as required
Manual handling will be required, lifting and moving items according to Workplace Health & Safety practices

About the Role
An opportunity currently exists for a Grade 2 physiotherapist to join the physiotherapy department. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high quality, overall physiotherapy management to the rehabilitation patients of the Fitzroy campus of St Vincent’s Hospital. The role is also responsible for supervision of students, Grade 1 staff, and Allied Health Assistants and taking a leadership role within the department and other duties as directed/delegated.
Applications from current grade two physiotherapists or suitably experienced grade one physiotherapists will be considered. Relevant postgraduate qualifications would also be highly regarded. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join a cohesive and progressive integrated team, committed to excellence in clinical practice, research and professional development.
Must have, or be currently eligible for, National Physiotherapist Registration.
Classifications for this position will be VB1 – VB4 ($90,235 to $103,724 per annum).
Duties include
Provide appropriate clinical management for all rehabilitation patients
Assessment, planning and treatment including education for all rehabilitation patients
Communicate assessment and treatment outcomes to nursing, medical and other Allied Health staff via documentation and handovers.
Clinical supervision and teaching of physiotherapy students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, as required
Develop and promote new initiatives regarding service provision
Your Contribution
Recent experience in and knowledge of physiotherapy management in an subacute health care setting, particularly rehabilitation
Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of and commitment to continuous quality improvement
Experience with student supervision

Your opportunity
This role offers a great opportunity to be exposed to a diverse caseload and would suit a clinician who has a broad skills base and enjoys working within a Residential Aged Care environment.
You will be working with clients of functional / musculoskeletal based assessment, acute rehabilitation, chronic disease management, improving mobility and function, falls prevention and management, chronic pain management, subacute rehabilitation, post surgical rehabilitation and contributing to improving organisation processes and staff training.
About you:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
2 years physio experience, experience in aged care or community is desirable
Previous experience in assessing & treating a diverse population (acute, subacute, geriatric, palliative care) and a commitment to the delivery of evidence-based practice in this population.
Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
High level of communication and interpersonal skills, strong focus on customer service.
Ability to work within a team and autonomously.
