About the Unit
The MCH Paediatric Orthopaedic Department provides a comprehensive range of Orthopaedic surgery for Children and Adolescents including subspecialties in: Paediatric Hip and Knee, Cerebral Palsy and Neuromuscular surgery, Trauma, Limb reconstruction, Sports medicine and Skeletal dysplasia. It is part of the wider Monash Orthopaedic Surgery Department, offering a cradle-to-grave service.
About the Role
Provide general paediatric orthopaedic care at Monash Children's Hospital.Â
Provide operative and non-operative care to patients with common paediatric orthopaedic presentations, including both elective and essential operations, as well as emergency presentations.Â
Support academic, research, education, training & supervision (both undergraduate and postgraduate) roles in the Orthopaedic Unit, Monash Health.
Support the Orthopaedic Unit's outreach services within Monash Health.
Contribute to the professional and corporate life of Monash Health by participation in appropriate committees.
Contribute to ongoing service improvement and clinical and workforce innovation to ensure Monash Health provides high quality accessible Orthopaedic Services within allocated resources and meets the needs of Monash Health patients.
Supervise Junior Medical Staff in your Unit and ensure that when on-call or on ward service, clear instructions are provided on when and how junior staff reporting to you should contact you for patient related matters.
Build supportive relations with Junior Medical Staff who report to you and encourage open communication including escalation of clinical and non-clinical concerns.
Applicants should hold full fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery with RACS and Australian Orthopaedic Association or equivalent, completion of an approved Fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery and practical experience in the management of General Paediatric orthopaedic conditions.
Applicants should hold an Australian Passport or equivalent.

This is an exciting opportunity for a 12 month fixed-term, full time Medical Administration Registrar to join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team at our Fitzroy campus. This role is due to commence on February 1st 2027.
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
This role will provide assistance to the Medical Director to ensure effective clinical governance standards and the highest quality of care are provided across the four St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne facilitates.
Key Duties and responsibilities include:
- Supporting the appropriate credentialing of all Accredited Medical Practitioners
- Coordinating the orientation, rosters and other aspects associated with junior medical trainee rotations
- Arranging quarterly medical specialty meetings (including preparation of data)
- Participating in risk management activities

There is also an option for a rural 4-week clinical placement with one of our clinical partners.

About the Role/The Opportunity
Reporting to the Clinical Program Director of Continuing Care, the Clinical Director of Palliative Care provides strategic, clinical and professional leadership for SVHM’s comprehensive Palliative Care Service. With a national and international reputation for excellence and compassion, the Palliative Care Service delivers specialist palliative care across acute inpatient services, the Inpatient Specialist Palliative Care Unit at Caritas Christi, Subacute Wards at the Fitzroy and Kew campuses, community outreach, correctional health, and partnerships with rural and regional health services.
We are seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking leader who combines specialist clinical expertise with an innovative and person-centred approach to palliative care. The successful candidate will lead and inspire a dedicated multidisciplinary team of skilled clinicians to deliver excellence in patient care and outcomes, while providing strategic direction for the service in alignment with organisational priorities and the broader vision of the Continuing Care Program  Motivated by a commitment to advancing palliative care delivery, the Clinical Director will drive service innovation, strengthen research capability, mentor and develop emerging clinical leaders, and foster strong partnerships across St Vincent's and its academic, community and healthcare networks. Supported by a high-performing executive leadership team, the Clinical Director will play a pivotal role in enhancing the profile, impact and future direction of Palliative Care Services through a collaborative "One St Vincent's" approach.
Key responsibilities
Primary day to day accountabilities for this service-critical appointment include:
Provide strategic, clinical and professional leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based and person-centred palliative care services across St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.
Lead the ongoing development and implementation of strategic and operational plans that align Palliative Care Services with the broader objectives of Continuing Care Services, SVHM and St Vincent's Health Australia.
Promote a culture of clinical excellence, quality improvement, safety and innovation, ensuring research evidence and best practice are translated into patient care.
Provide expert specialist advice and leadership to multidisciplinary teams, supporting excellence in symptom management, end-of-life care and holistic care for patients and their families.
Lead and develop a high performing multidisciplinary team, building workforce capability through mentorship, education and succession planning.
Drive service development and growth opportunities, including the implementation of innovative models of care across inpatient, subacute, community and specialist palliative care settings.
Establish and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, academic institutions, government agencies and professional bodies.
Advance education and training activities across the service, ensuring high-quality learning environments for medical students, trainees and multidisciplinary clinicians.
Strengthen the research profile and academic standing of Palliative Care Services through collaboration, publication, translation of evidence into practice and the development of research capability.
Provide leadership in organisational priorities and business planning to ensure achievement of clinical, operational, workforce and financial objectives.
Classifications for this position will range from Specialist Year 1 –Year 9 (HM33 - HM41) Full Time), dependent on time commitment and years of experience.
Selection Criteria
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Appointees must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and specialist qualification in Palliative Medicine.
Evidence of ongoing CME participation
Indemnification with recognised Medical Defence Association

As a radiologist at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, you will be an integral part of a tertiary-level imaging department with access to a stimulating case mix in a collegial and supportive atmosphere.
St Vincent’s Medical Imaging (MI) provides a comprehensive imaging service to inpatients, emergency department patients and outpatients as well as collaborating with world class research institutions on campus.
We are a patient focussed service, highly engaged in multi-disciplinary care on campus with a strong research arm, quality education and training.
Our comprehensive range of diagnostic and interventional radiology services operating 24/7 includes:
•          Computed Tomography (including cardiac CT)
•          MRI (2 x3T, 1.5T), MRgFUS
•          Dedicated interventional radiology suites

•          Fluoroscopy
•          Full range of Image guided procedures
We are accredited by ACHS for the National Safety & Quality Standards, Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme (DIAS), Practice Accreditation Standards (NATA) and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology (RANZCR).
The Staff Specialist has responsibility for service standards, patient throughput, continuing education, research, training of staff and students as well as liaison with key stakeholders and other relevant professional bodies. This includes:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at Casey Hospital, Monash Health to assist in covering long service leave from 24th November 2026 to 20th January 2027.Â
The paediatric unit at Casey has a 20 cot SCN and a 20 bed children's ward (shared with Paediatric Surgery and ENT), supported by a team of dedicated nurses and three other consultants to provide 24 hour cover. The unit has 8 FTE of registrars, an SRMO, 6 HMOs and a part time Clinical Nurse Consultant. Each paediatrician participates in a 1 in 4 roster of ward service, after-hours cover and a number of outpatient clinics per month. The outpatient clinics have registrar or SRMO support. In addition, it is expected that consultants attend weekly teaching and clinical review meetings and contribute to the non-clinical activities of the paediatric unit. On average the role will be paid at 12.27 hours/week plus on call as rostered. There may be an opportunity to work some additional hours. The role comprises:Â
- Ward service week (1 week in 4): Â

- Daily ward rounds of Paediatric Ward and Special Care Nursery and cover for advice and emergencies until 1700

About Monash Health HaematologyÂ
Monash Haematology is a dynamic academic department that integrates the best evidence base into routine patient care. It provides haematology care to a population of approximately 1.5 million, making it one of the largest services in Australia.
Key leadership areas in clinical care and research include:
a) Acute leukaemia and myelodysplastic syndromes;
b)  Myeloproliferative neoplasms;Â
c) Lymphoma, myeloma and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia;
d) Venous thromboembolic disease;
e) Haemoglobinopathy;
f) Obstetric haematology;
g) Transfusion medicine and
h) Molecular haematology.
In addition to these established pillars, Monash Haematology has an emerging Cell Therapies Program including provision of autologous stem cell transplantation and CAR-T therapy.
Our clinical CAR-T research program includes active studies in autoimmune or inflammatory disease (e.g., lupus) in addition to malignant indications.
Monash Haematology is an active collaborator with a number of research organisations including the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, Hudson Institute of Medical Research, the Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group and the Children's Oncology Group.
Embedded within the School of Clinical Sciences, our preclinical and translational research program incorporates the `Blood Cancer Therapeutics Laboratory', `Blood Cancer Biomarker Laboratory' and the `Leukaemia Modelling and Therapeutic Discovery Group'.
These academic links provide clinicians with opportunities to extend their clinical experience within a scientific program.
About the Role
An opportunity to join a clinic focused on myeloid related diseases at the Cranbourne Community Hospital. This is one of two dedicated myeloid clinics in the service, treating high acuity patients with access to a cutting-edge clinical trial portfolio. The primary function of this role to participate on a weekly basis in the clinic on Monday afternoons with a case mix of patients with predominantly malignant haematological conditions. The focus of this clinic is myeloid related diseases (acute leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms and stem cell transplant consultation), including diagnosis, treatment and post-acute care. An understanding of haematologic disease, particularly myeloid disorders and related biology, investigation, treatment and clinical trials is essential. The appointee must contribute to regular functioning of the Haematology unit, including participation in multidisciplinary team meetings aligned with this clinic. The role also requires participation in scientific/translational research within the Monash Health and Translation Precinct (MHTP), the advanced trainee teaching program and other relevant unit and hospital educational and quality activities.Â
