Your part in our St Stephens team
The Clinical Nurse Educator will coordinate the planning, development, design, delivery, evaluation and improvement of education within their allocated department/s and education portfolio to support clinicians in providing evidence based and contemporary patient focused services.
The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) is responsible for ensuring excellence in educational outcomes within the resource constraints of the organisation and in the context of organisational values. This position works closely with the Nursing Division to identify and meet the nursing education needs throughout the Hospital.
The role reports to the Regional Education Manager, who is responsible for coordinating overall delivery of clinical education.
What makes a difference for us?
· Significant clinical experience with greater than 3 years in an acute hospital setting
· Relevant qualifications and experience in education ie Certificate IV workplace training and assessment or post graduate education qualifications
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Demonstrated knowledge of NSQHSS, Qld Health Clinical Services Capability Framework training requirements and other relevant industry legislation and standards
· Demonstrated ability and application for the development, delivery and evaluation of formal and informal education programs and understanding of current clinical educational models and applications
· Current instructor competency for ALS / PALS is desirable
Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment

Your opportunity
Reporting to the Time & Attendance Lead, the Time & Attendance Officer provides frontline support for Time & Attendance processes and systems across Anglicare. This role works closely with Payroll, HR Business Partners, managers and employees to ensure accurate workforce data, timely issue resolution and smooth pay-close activities.
You will be responsible for supporting employees and managers with system navigation, troubleshooting, data corrections and administrative activities that contribute to accurate payroll processing.
With integrity and resilience, you will:
- Process manual timesheets and historical corrections accurately and within required timeframes.
- Support Time & Attendance close activities, including exception management and manager follow-up.
- Troubleshoot system issues, including punch errors and scheduling conflicts, and provide support to employees and managers.
- Respond to enquiries and deliver high-quality customer service aligned with Anglicare's 3Cs framework.
- Contribute to audit readiness, compliance reporting, process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll bring
You are a customer-focused administrator with strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality outcomes. You enjoy working with systems, solving problems and supporting stakeholders to navigate processes confidently.
What’s required:
- Experience in payroll or Time & Attendance operations.
- Experience working with complex systems such as UKG or similar platforms.
- Strong administrative skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
What’s preferred:
- Experience supporting pay-close activities and compliance processes.
- The ability to troubleshoot system and data issues confidently.
- Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join Mercy Hospital for Women (MHW) and provide leadership across Perioperative Services. As Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you will oversee the operational and clinical management of the Perioperative Department, including Day Surgery, the four-theatre suite, Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU), and Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD).
This pivotal leadership role will support surgical recovery and service reform initiatives, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
The NUM will play a critical role in ensuring service delivery aligns with contemporary best practice and operates in accordance with ACORN Standards, the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards, and AS 5369:2023 standards and guidelines.
Reporting to senior leadership, the Nurse Unit Manager is accountable for the effective management of all departmental resources, including workforce, equipment, budgets, and clinical operations. The role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care while fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
