About the role
Permanent, full-time or part-time (not a locum role)
Focus on skin cancer medicine and procedures including skin checks, dermoscopy, biopsies and excisions
Join an established skin cancer service with a loyal patient base and strong ongoing demand
Opportunity to work alongside an experienced GP with a special interest in skin cancer medicine, while enjoying the autonomy to build your own practice
Skin imaging technology and an experienced multidisciplinary team to support you in delivering high quality procedural care
Opportunity to develop or incorporate other procedural interests, including cosmetic medicine, musculoskeletal procedures and other areas of expertise, depending on your qualifications and interests
No after-hours and no weekend work
About you
FRACGP or FACRRM with Vocational Registration
Experience or qualifications in skin cancer medicine and/or surgery are highly regarded, however GPs with a genuine interest in developing these skills are encouraged to apply
Experience or an interest in other procedural areas, including cosmetic medicine, is welcomed
Confident performing dermoscopy, skin checks, biopsies and excisions, or keen to further develop these skills
Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration, with no current or previous conditions, undertakings or restrictions
This opportunity is available to VR GPs only. Unfortunately, GP Registrars, non VR GPs and IMGs requiring supervision are not eligible for this position.

About the Role:
Working as part of the broader Community Services team, the Child Health Nurse will deliver comprehensive, trauma-informed, and culturally safe Child Health and Development Checks (CHDCs) for children aged birth to 5 years. The role supports early identification of health and developmental concerns, provides tailored advice and referrals, and contributes to improved outcomes for children and families, particularly in priority cohorts including Aboriginal, CALD, and regional communities.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Child Health and Development Checks (birth to 5 years) using evidence-based screening tools and clinical judgement.

Provide health promotion, immunisation advice, and anticipatory guidance to caregivers and families.

Identify developmental concerns and risk factors early, and coordinate timely referrals to allied health, specialist services, and community supports.

Deliver culturally safe, trauma-informed care and engage respectfully with Aboriginal, CALD, and regional families.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic medical records and contribute to data collection and reporting requirements.

A mixed billing family practice in Port Pirie 240km north of Adelaide. Open 6 days a week Monday to Friday 8.00am to 8.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to 3.00pm.
The position is for a general practitioner to work as part of the primary health care team in the medical practice. They would be responsible for comprehensive, coordinated and continued medical care for individuals, families, residential aged care, emergency medicine, and palliative care.
Applicant will be required to provide inpatient services to Port Pirie Regional Health Service. Opportunity to provide emergency on-call for the right applicant.
You will be part of a friendly team providing a comprehensive range of health services in a supportive and caring environment , with registered nurses to assist with care plans , vaccinations etc.
Will need to be able to obtain Credentials at the Port Pirie Hospital, to provide inpatient services.
Standard work hours are 8-10 sessions per week consulting hours, Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm. and Saturdays on a roster 9.00am to 3.00pm.
