About You

You will bring demonstrated leadership experience within a clinical setting, with the ability to lead, support and develop a diverse nursing team. Experience in a Nurse Unit Manager, Associate Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse or equivalent senior nursing role will be highly regarded.

The Role

• Make a deliberate, personal effort to engage with café customers.

About the role

Opportunities exist for experienced Mental Health Registered Nurses to join the team at St John of God Midland Public Hospital. The new 56-bed Mental Health Unit comprises three wards:

·       25-bed adult mental health ward 

·       16-bed older adult mental health ward 

·       15-bed secure ward

Whilst providing multidisciplinary care to all patients based on an individualised care model, the unit also maintains strong links with community mental health services, other primary health care providers and social services to ensure patients receive ongoing care after leaving hospital.

As a suitably qualified Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN), you will join our Adult Mental Health Team. About You

The Role

• Lead strategic and operational planning activities related to Health Information Services (HIS) and Patient Services and the ongoing review of HIS systems and processes within the hospital.

Your Role

As an Environmental Services Assistant, you’ll play an important role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff. The Position

• Assist in the provision of other additional services provided by housekeeping under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisors, Managers or Duty Nurse Manager.
• Support the delivery of safe patient care and the consumers’ experience, including participation in continuous quality improvement activities in accordance with the requirements of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and other recognised health standards.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and ideally have recent experience within a mental health or acute hospital environment.

Experience in mental health nursing will be highly regarded. We also welcome Registered Nurses from other acute clinical backgrounds who are interested in developing their experience within mental health.

St John of God Healthcare at Home (HAH) offers a range of out of hospital services including hospital substitution and acute and non-acute services delivered by a multidisciplinary care team of nurses, midwives, lactation consultants, allied health practitioners and support workers to assist clients recover at home after a hospital stay. The service provides more than 110,000 home care visits each year and provides nursing, midwifery and lactation support, and allied health services in the home.

About the role

We are seeking two compassionate and organised Administration Assistants to join our Healthcare at Home (HAH) team, supporting patients throughout their care journey from admission through to discharge.

In this important role, you will help ensure every patient experiences a smooth and welcoming service by coordinating administrative processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing timely support to patients, caregivers and clinicians.

In this role, you will deliver professional and caring customer service while contributing to the effective day-to-day operation of the HAH service. • Responds to patient queries with appropriate escalation to clinical resources.
• Compilation and management of the patient file including patient admission documentation, care plans, medications charts and clinical notes in accordance with the National Standards.
• Processes patient referrals including scheduling visits to ensure appropriate allocation of resources considering skills and geographical location to optimize efficiencies.

Previous experience in a health care environment will be highly regarded, along with a sound understanding of medical terminology and health fund processes.
