Your part in our Blue Care team
You'll provide holistic, integrated care to our clientsenhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. Working with a number of movement conditions associated with musculoskeletal impairments, medical conditions and chronic disease, you will tailor your care to make a real difference in your client's quality of life!
You'll have the opportunity to develop new treatment programs, helping clients to manage their movement, pain, balance and manual handling. This will include:
- Diagnosing, assessing and developing care plans for individuals and groups
- Prescription and selection of appropriate adaptive equipment and modification
- Education and training on aspects of therapy for the clients and carers
- Goal setting activities, as well discharge and resolution planning
- Liaising with healthcare professionals, such as GPs, nurses and occupational therapists to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored

- Current Australian Drivers Licence and a road worthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance as required - Essential
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
- Current CPR and First Aid
- Own reliable vehicle with kilometre reimbursement where a fleet car is not available

Your part in our UnitingCare team
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Service Leader to join our Lifeline Crisis Support team on the Sunshine Coast.
This rewarding leadership role is responsible for managing the operational and administrative functions of the service while providing professional leadership and support to Crisis Support employees and volunteers. Working collaboratively with other Service Leaders and key stakeholders, you'll drive service excellence, workforce engagement, and continuous improvement to ensure the best possible experience for help seekers accessing Lifeline services.
In this role, you will:

Lead and manage all aspects of service delivery to ensure operational goals and performance outcomes are achieved.
•
Provide leadership, supervision, coaching and performance management to Crisis Support employees and volunteers.
•
Foster a values-driven culture that attracts, engages and retains a skilled and committed workforce.
•
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and rostering activities to ensure service needs are met.
•
Evaluate recruitment and workforce engagement initiatives, using data and insights to inform planning and continuous improvement.
•
Work within quality, compliance and risk management frameworks to support safe, effective and best-practice service delivery.
•
Monitor service budgets, reporting requirements and key performance indicators, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
•
Build and maintain strong relationships with community, government and sector stakeholders to enhance service awareness and outcomes.
•
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, stakeholder engagement and client satisfaction.
•
Support the development of resources and initiatives that strengthen Lifeline's impact within the community.
What makes a difference for us?
•
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, Social Science or a related discipline.
•
Lesser formal qualifications with considerable skills, knowledge and extensive relevant experience to an equivalent standard.
•
Demonstrated experience leading teams to achieve service performance outcomes, including supervision, coaching and staff development.
•
Experience managing operational and administrative functions within a community services, health or human services environment.
•
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, reporting requirements and business administration processes.
•
Strong understanding of quality, risk management and continuous improvement frameworks.
•
Highly developed communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
•
Ability to develop and maintain effective systems, processes and procedures to support service delivery.
•
Current QLD Driver’s License.
•
Current Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
•
Willingness to undergo a Personal History Check as part of the pre-employment screening process.
•
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is desirable

As a Grief and Loss Practice and Education Lead, you will play a meaningful role in strengthening the way UnitingCare supports people through grief, loss and bereavement. Your part in our UnitingCare team:

Design, develop and review grief and loss curriculum, training resources and program materials to ensure they remain current, relevant and aligned with contemporary practice.

Facilitate and co-deliver engaging workshops, presentations and learning sessions for facilitators, volunteers, clients and other stakeholders across Queensland.

Support compliance requirements for new and existing Grief and Loss facilitators and volunteers, helping ensure safe, consistent and quality program delivery.

Your part in our UnitingCare team
The Early Childhood Approach (ECA) service works as a Partner in the Community delivering the NDIS, supporting children and their families up to the age of 9 years, who have a disability, developmental delay or concern.
You will be familiar with contemporary practices in early childhood early intervention and be passionate about making a difference in the lives of families with children with developmental concerns, a developmental delay or disability.
In this role, you’ll:
•
Work alongside families to ensure access to the information, linkages and capacity building to enable their children with developmental concerns, developmental delay or disability to be fully integrated into the life and opportunities of their communities.
•
Implement the NDIS Early Childhood Approach to support children under nine years of age who have a developmental delay or disability, and their families/carers.
•
Support families to facilitate access to the most appropriate early intervention pathway for children aged 0-8 years, including community supports, Early Supports, and accessing the NDIS.
•
Support families to help children develop the skills they need to take part in daily activities.
•
Support communities to ensure they have the confidence and competence to include all children.
•
Build and maintain strong relationships with families, community, clinical services and education.
What makes a difference for us?
•
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Community Services, Human Services, Social Work, Early Childhood, Allied Health, Psychology) with demonstrated early childhood experience.
•
NDIS worker screening or have the ability to obtain prior to employment.
•
Demonstrated ability to partner with children and families to build community connections and achieve personal goals.
•
Experience using evidence-based early childhood practices that support family-led decision-making, autonomy, choice, control and safeguarding.
•
Commitment to ensuring all children are valued and included, with the ability to recognise vulnerabilities and apply appropriate safeguards.
•
Demonstrated ability to analyse information provided by various stakeholders including allied health, medical, Child Safety and Education.
•
A sound understanding of child development and best practice guidelines within early childhood intervention.
•
A current Driver’s license is essential
•
Hold a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
