Our Senior Clinician is a civilian GP and a senior member of the management team within the region. Balancing both clinical and administrative responsibilities across the Oakey Health Centre, you will be responsible for:
- Providing information, advice, and recommendations on medical issues and specialist medical services to the Health Centre manager
- General Practice consultations, referrals, health screenings and liaison with allied health professionals
- Provision of occupational health services and preventative health care
- Participating in quality and governance improvement including, giving subject matter expertise advice to clinical incident and complaints management and performance management processes

Your Role at Port Lincoln HospitalThese ongoing, full-time positions are centred on the Port Lincoln Hospital Emergency Department, where you'll provide the full scope of rural emergency medicine. Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing undifferentiated and high-acuity emergency presentations independently, including trauma, paediatric and obstetric emergencies

- Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience across clinical governance, quality management, clinical risk, professional practice, compliance, accreditation and audit readiness.
- Strong understanding of aged care legislation, regulatory requirements, professional scope of practice, clinical delegation and workforce competency, with the ability to translate these requirements into practical operational systems.
- Strong people leadership, stakeholder engagement, influencing and change management skills, with the ability to balance client outcomes, clinical safety, regulatory requirements and operational priorities.
A postgraduate qualification in health service management, clinical governance, nursing leadership, quality, risk or a related discipline will be highly regarded, as will experience in home care or community-based aged care.

About the role A GP role at Moreton ATSICHS is different to most, with a unique, holistic and integrated way of working and sought-after benefits including the benefit and security of a permanent, salaried position. We have opportunities available across our five clinic locations, including Caboolture, Deception Bay, Margate, Morayfield, and Strathpine.
Your role will be integral in providing holistic, patient-centred care. Working alongside many highly skilled clinicians and motivated administrative team members, you'll be part of a committed, collaborative multidisciplinary team. At Moreton ATSICHS you'll find: 1:1 nurse to GP ratio Allied health and specialist services onsite/easily accessible within the network and priority referral pathways Dynamic and supportive team culture with a strong sense of collaboration and respectful ways of working Time to fully connect with patients Become part of a dynamic team focused on quality culturally safe holistic health and wellbeing services Opportunities to be part of a dynamic network of leading health professionals with a focus on innovation and quality improvement Opportunities to pursue areas of clinical interest areas Comprehensive cultural mentoring What we offer We offer rewarding work, and a variety of flexible full-time and part-time roles supporting great work-life balance. Our full-time salary packages range from $279,438 to $291,080, with additional financial and lifestyle benefits you don't find in many GP practices. In Addition, Our GP salary package includes: 4 weeks of annual leave per year (including 17.5% leave loading) 10 days personal leave per year 12% superannuation Our GPs also have access to additional benefits: Not for profit salary packaging (up to $15,899) to increase your take-home pay Fully reimbursed medical indemnity insurance Paid administration time and professional development opportunities Options for flexible work arrangementsOur clinics are located between the relaxed Sunshine Coast and metropolitan Brisbane - a comfortable commute in an increasingly popular lifestyle location.
