About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in this critical frontline role delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families.
As the Registered Nurse, you will:

This role is open to an existing Gr 3 looking to add to their experience or to an aspiring Grade 2 Dietitian with the relevant experience to transition to Grade 3. We will offer you guidance and support in your transition.
What you bring:
- Preferably you have at least 7 year of experience in providing clinical care to acute +/or subacute inpatients.
- You have demonstrated experienced in the delivery of clinical education and clinical supervision
- You enjoy developing others, are highly organised and a clear and warm communicator.
- You lead by example, thrive in a fast paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence based dietetic interventions

What you need:
- A Dietitians Australia accredited dietetics degree or hold a Dietitians Australia mutually recognised dietetics degree from New Zealand or have passed the Dietitians Dietetic Skills Recognition (DSR) process.

About the Role
Join our team as a Food Services Assistant on a part time, ongoing to work at Boollam Boollam Aged care based at Heatherton. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the Chef Manager and working with the broader Support Services team.
FSAs play a vital role in providing high-quality meal services to patients and supporting overall patient nutrition and food safety. FSAs are responsible for the preparation and delivery of meals, cleaning of food service areas, all whilst ensuring patient’s dietary needs are met accurately and efficiently. FSAs contribute to patient care by ensuring meals are delivered on time, safely, accurately and with respect.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Delivering and collecting meal trays and Burlodge trolleys to and from service areas
- Regenerating and preparing meals in line with production and clinical needs, including special functions
- Cleaning and sanitising food trays, food preparation areas, and kitchen equipment
- Operating dishwashers and other food service equipment safely and efficiently
- Restocking pantries and trolleys; whilst maintaining food stock levels as required

About You

You are a reliable and punctual team member with great verbal and written communication skills; and intermediate computer skills. Whether you work independently or as part of a team; you always follow manual handling, safety protocols, and procedural instructions. It would be an advantage if you also have comprehensive understanding of diet codes, texture modified foods and fluids, food allergies and intolerances.

Your Role as Care Partner (Virtual)
The Virtual Care Partner is responsible for delivering care management services to Support at Home customers to ensure they receive high-quality, person-centred care that meets their individual needs, goals, and preferences. Nestled within the leafy grounds of the Kingston Centre in Heatherton, the Boollam Boollam Aged Care Centre offers a state-of-the-art, purpose-built centre that is dedicated to comfort, dignity, and excellence in aged care. With 150 beds across four thoughtfully designed floors consisting of 15 bed houses, our modern infrastructure supports a warm, home-like environment—tailored to meet the unique needs of every resident.
The home is supported by a diverse team of nursing professionals including Nursing Coordinators, Nurse Managers, Associate Nurse Managers, Registered Nurses, Graduate Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Healthcare Workers who all work collaboratively with our Nurse Managers and Facility Manager.

Position Summary
The Grade 3 Physiotherapist is responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred and evidence-based physiotherapy services across St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne’s three Residential Aged Care homes: Berengarra in Kew, Prague House in Kew and Auburn House in Hawthorn East. These services support residents with a diverse range of care needs, including general residential aged care, aged persons’ mental health and residents with a history of homelessness. Working closely with Residential Aged Care leadership and the broader multidisciplinary team, the Grade 3 Physiotherapist provides clinical leadership to promote best practice and support optimal health, wellbeing, function and quality of life for residents.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing comprehensive physiotherapy assessment, treatment and clinical management for residents
Ensuring physiotherapy care is person-centred, evidence-based and aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards
Providing clinical leadership and supporting the coordination and management of physiotherapy services within Residential Aged Care
Supervising and supporting junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy students and other team members

About the role

Essential Requirements:
MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
Completion of at least three (3) postgraduate years of medical practice or four (4) postgraduate years if presently a basic ANZCA trainee.
Valid NSW Working with Children check.
Cleared National Police check.
Aged Care Check for Australian Government funded positions.
To be employed by NSW Health you are required to provide evidence of vaccination to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy, this includes any amendments made from time to time.
You must take all reasonable care for yourself and others and comply with any reasonable instruction, policies and procedures relating to work health safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role.
Must have Australian experience or be eligible for Competent Authority pathway.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a supervised environment and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Effective oral, written and computer skills and demonstrated good organisational time management skills.
Evidence of continued professional development and commitment to self-education including completion of ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular life support).
Ability and willingness to deliver patient care and preparedness and ability to participate in a shift and on-call roster.
Prior to appointment, must have completed a minimum of one (1) years’ experience is required in critical care specialties (anaesthesia, ED and ICU) including at least six months’ experience in anaesthesia at registrar level.
Demonstrated orientation to rural/regional practice through life experiences, medical school and/or residency, outlining evidence of commitment to the provision of health care in a rural setting, preferably with experience of rural or regional medicine.
