About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our Brisbane Northside Emergency team on a casual basis. You will be an integral part of the team that is passionate about making a difference to the lives of those you care for, while making a positive contribution to the overall standard of care delivered.
St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside is an acute tertiary private Catholic hospital. We are known for our comprehensive critical care, as well as inpatient and day patient services across a diverse range of medical and surgical disciplines. Our hospital has 227 beds, 9 operating theatres, 2 cardiac catheter laboratories, a 17-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Day Oncology Unit, Breast Health Centre, Endoscopy Unit, Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit and a 24-hour, private emergency centre provided by Brisbane Northside Emergency. Our specialties include breast health, cancer care, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery and orthopaedics.

What will I be doing?
- Working in a part-time clinical role, mentoring, leading and supporting a team of Specialised Dementia Carers.

- Providing clinical assessments and contributing to care planning to support the changing needs of residents.
- Supporting clinical decision-making and providing professional nursing oversight.

What do I need to be successful?
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also demonstrating initiative and independence.

About the Opportunity
The role of the Payroll Coordinator provides a high standard of support to enable successful and smooth payroll processing across HammondCare Residential. The Payroll Officer assists in the process and maintenance of accurate and up to date payroll records and contributes to ensuring HammondCare meets legislative requirements, in addition to supporting with the running of payroll operations each fortnight and weekly adjustment run.
This is a permanent role with hybrid working opportunities.
The role can be based at St Leonards in Sydney or either Malvern, Caulfield or Yarraville in Melbourne.
How you’ll make an impact
Payroll Processing & Administration
- Support the accurate and timely processing of the fortnightly payroll, including employee changes, leave, deductions and other payroll transactions
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records, ensuring new starter information, leave balances and payroll data are processed correctly and on time
- Process termination payments, ETPs, overpayment recoveries, purchased leave and other payroll calculations and entitlements
- Prepare payroll reports and provide ad hoc reporting as required
Payroll Compliance
- Support payroll compliance with relevant legislation, Awards and Agreements, including PAYG tax, superannuation, salary sacrifice and other statutory or authorised deductions
- Maintain current knowledge of payroll legislation, processes, procedures and best practices through ongoing learning and use of training and process documentation
Employee & Manager Support
- Provide timely and professional payroll support and guidance to employees and managers, including queries relating to Workday and UKG (Time & Attendance)
- Manage Salesforce payroll cases professionally and efficiently, working towards independently resolving enquiries where appropriate
- Deliver a professional, accurate and customer-focused payroll service to employees and stakeholders
Payroll Systems & Problem Solving
- Develop proficiency in UKG and other payroll systems, including investigating and troubleshooting payroll and time and attendance issues

About the role
The Senior Accounts Payable Officer plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable functions. Working as part of a team of finance professionals, the role is responsible for processing supplier and miscellaneous invoices, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring payments are made accurately and on time in accordance with agreed payment terms and organisational policies.
The role partners with the Accounts Payable Team Leader to ensure the accurate, efficient, and timely processing of supplier payments. The role is responsible for meeting service level agreements, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and financial controls. Working closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation, including Procurement, operational teams, and invoice authorisers, the Senior Accounts Payable Officer helps facilitate a smooth and effective accounts payable process. The role also serves as a key liaison with suppliers, proactively resolving payment queries, invoice discrepancies, and other issues to maintain positive supplier relationships and support business continuity.
This is a permanent full-time role based at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities.
Key Responsibilities include
- Distribute invoices to relevant facilities and stakeholders for approval, following up with authorisers to ensure timely processing.
- Collaborate with operational teams, enabling services, and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and supplier disputes.
- Manage and respond to Accounts Payable enquiries from suppliers and internal stakeholders via phone and email.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain missing invoice documentation and ensure invoices are processed and paid within agreed payment terms.

Central to your success will be building trusted relationships with leaders across the organisation, understanding their priorities and working alongside them to deliver practical, sustainable outcomes.

What makes a difference for us?
- Extensive management consulting experience, ideally gained at a senior level within a consulting firm or mature internal advisory function.

Primarily a clinical role, it also includes portfolio responsibilities aligned with your professional development, contributing to high-quality service delivery and improved outcomes for older consumers.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Must hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in Mental Health practice.
Associate Nurse Unit Manager (RN/M2A)
Provide high-quality nursing/midwifery care while supporting the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager. You will take accountability for your practice, guide junior staff, and help ensure consistent, patient-centred care. The role includes involvement in staffing, rostering, recruitment, and performance processes, as well as supporting resource and financial management. This position combines clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, offering the opportunity to develop management skills and contribute to a positive, high-performing team environment.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

Join our Allied Health Team
Join the Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative Care (RAP) Division at the Repat Health Precinct and make a meaningful difference to patients as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary Allied Health team. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work alongside Allied Health Professionals to support patient care, promote independence and contribute to positive occupational and therapeutic outcomes.
About the role:
Reporting to the Allied Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Manager and working under the direction of Allied Health Professionals, the Allied Health Assistant provides patient care and therapy support to assist patients in achieving greater independence and improved outcomes.
- Providing specific therapeutic interventions and assisting with patient therapy under the direction of Allied Health Professionals.
- Assisting patients with transport, preparation, personal care, movement and physical tasks associated with therapy interventions.
- Maintaining accurate patient documentation and therapy-related databases as directed.
- Monitoring patient responses to therapy and reporting relevant information to supervising Allied Health Professionals.
About you:
- Must be eligible for or be willing to undertake a Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
- Ability to work under close supervision and direction from Allied Health Professionals
- Ability to act responsibly in an emergency situation, with an ability to competently undertake pool rescue protocol per the division's procedures
- Previous relevant experience with patient care or experience working with people of varying degrees of disability and/or backgrounds

Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital is a major metropolitan teaching hospital. The hospital also provides a wide range of outpatient services including allied health, dental and podiatry clinics, child, adolescent and family health, drug and alcohol, health promotion and rehabilitation and aged care. An acute mental health service is co-located at Hornsby Hospital. The new $265 million Stage 2 redevelopment was officially opened in June 2022.
