About the opportunity:
This role will support the Service Manager in a range of day to day administrative and support tasks. Being the first point of contact for residents, families and staff, you will be responsible for providing courteous reception and administrative support, including rostering of the staff at the facility
- Facilitate communication with residents and / or their families and staff in relation to office administration requirements.
- Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day activities of the office ensuring administrative, clerical and reception services are provided to the residents, visitors and staff.
- Provide timely and effective support to managers.
- Efficient and effective maintenance of document and data storage.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or aged care setting.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Roster Management and Finance Management
- High level of interpersonal, organisational & communication skills (written and verbal).
- High attention to detail and previous knowledge of roster planning.
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Experience in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential).
- A sense of empathy & compassion for elderly residents & their families.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality around client data records.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

Your part in the team
Reporting to the Performance and Reporting Manager, the role is accountable fo all the role is accountable for operationalising performance measurement processes and monitoring performance of Blue Care’s Community services on financial and non-financial outcomes (e.g. operational, quality, customer, workforce).
It is responsible for analysing service performance, identifying opportunities and developing practical recommendations on effective options that improve our residential aged care service performance.

Additionally, you will bring to the role the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, accounting or a related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of government funding programs and reporting requirements (internal and external) for the Aged Care / Community services sector.
- Significant experience in finance or business performance functions dealing with complex, confidential and sensitive information.
- Demonstrated capability in the application and improvement of integrated reporting systems.
- Advanced data analysis, interpretation, presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of key principles of data structure and relationships, as relevant to analytics and reporting.

Living Support Partners provide direct care and assistance to resident with all activities of daily living. They partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices and ensure they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged. This position is to work as an effective household member and is supervised, providing care for residents in a specific household. They are responsible for assisting and supporting their wellbeing through professional, caring and efficient execution of required duties.

Casual availability

As a Medical Workforce Administration Officer, you will provide professional administrative support across medical workforce recruitment, onboarding, compliance and ongoing workforce administration. Working collaboratively with medical staff and key stakeholders, you will help coordinate workforce processes, maintain accurate records and contribute to the efficient operation of Medical Services.
Key responsibilities
Support the recruitment and onboarding of medical practitioners, locums and visiting specialists.
Coordinate medical workforce compliance requirements, including AHPRA registration, police clearances, mandatory training and credentialing documentation.
Source locum coverage, coordinating travel, accommodation and associated administration.
Assist with medical staff leave management and workforce planning activities.

In this busy, diverse and challenging role you will deliver exceptional service to our residents to ensuring their meal experience is to the highest standard.

As Chef you’ll:

- Takes great pride in preparing and delivering appropriately nutritious food to the highest quality and service standards in line with Estia Health guidelines
- Uses their attention to food handling and hygiene standards and the ability to ensure menus can cater to diverse individual needs
- Trains and mentors, their kitchen team to the expected standards.
