Anglicare has an exciting opportunity for an administrative assistant to be part of Donington Court, Castle Hill Residential care team.
The aim of this role is to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Residential care home, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
This is a Permanent full time based at Donington Court, Castle Hill.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
Complete general administrative tasks, including word processing, filing, emailing, and mail distribution.
Maintain and improve administrative procedures and systems.
Organise meetings, events, and functions as required.
Process work orders and supply orders in a timely manner.
Update resident files in accordance with Commonwealth, State, Anglicare, WHS, and Rehabilitation guidelines.
Ensure all administrative records and databases are accurately maintained and up to date.
Attend to residents, visitors, couriers, and trades people at the reception desk, providing a professional and welcoming service.
Assist with basic financial processes as directed by the Residential Manager and leadership team.
Comply with safe work practices and participate in workplace consultation activities.
Actively engage in safety activities, including hazard and incident reporting as prescribed in the WHSIMS.
Key Skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Effective verbal and written communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Customer service orientation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Adaptability and flexibility in a changing environment
Basic financial literacy and numeracy skills

Qualifications and Experience
Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent qualification (desirable)
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in an administrative or customer service role
Experience working with older people or in an aged care setting (desirable)

This is a Fixed term ( Until end of July 2027) part-time ( 4 days a week) opportunity, based in Brian King Gardens, Castle Hill.
Your opportunity
This role offers a great opportunity to be exposed to a diverse caseload and would suit a clinician who has a broad skills base and enjoys working within a Residential Aged Care environment.
You will be working with clients of functional / musculoskeletal based assessment, acute rehabilitation, chronic disease management, improving mobility and function, falls prevention and management, chronic pain management, subacute rehabilitation, post surgical rehabilitation and contributing to improving organisation processes and staff training.
About you:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
2 years physio experience, experience in aged care or community is desirable
Previous experience in assessing & treating a diverse population (acute, subacute, geriatric, palliative care) and a commitment to the delivery of evidence-based practice in this population.
Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
High level of communication and interpersonal skills, strong focus on customer service.
Ability to work within a team and autonomously.

About the Role
You’ll be hugely important in making sure our home runs smoothly – an indispensable helper to our residential aged care manager.
Usually, your day will involve:
- Working closely with the Residential Aged Care Manager and home staff to maintain accurate rosters

- Providing prompt and friendly customer service to both internal and external customers
- Proactively managing the enquiries pipeline to successfully convert enquiries to sales
- Lending a hand with billing, payroll and stocktake
- Providing guidance and mentoring to Administration Officer
- Maintaining all record management systems
- Supporting our residential aged care manager in their daily tasks
You’ll be a people person and problem-solver, with high attention to detail. You’ll also have:

About the role
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant (Renal), you will be responsible for the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care within the renal specialty, with a focus on achieving optimal patient outcomes within allocated resources while supporting and promoting the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care (SJGHC).
You will have direct responsibility for improving and maintaining standards of renal care, developing innovative solutions and delivering outcomes aligned with service priorities and organisational objectives. In this role, you will provide dedicated administrative support to our Maternity Outpatients Service, working exclusively with antenatal and maternity patients while coordinating and delivering high-level administrative and clerical support to ensure the department operates smoothly and efficiently.
You will play a vital role in supporting timely, well-organised and compassionate care, managing specialised maternity appointments, referrals and patient pathways, while working closely with midwives, obstetricians and multidisciplinary teams to support women and families throughout their maternity journey.
Key responsibilities
Provide a reception service to meet the daily requirements of the Maternity Outpatients Service.
Create and maintain patient information and specialised maternity records within the Patient Administration System.
Coordinate appointments for antenatal clinics, diabetes clinics, vaccination services and maternity-related specialist appointments.
Manage specialised maternity referral pathways and ensure referrals are processed accurately and within required timeframes.
Monitor and manage waitlists, ensuring patients are booked within clinical timeframes and escalating any concerns as required.
Coordinate education and orientation classes for expectant parents.
Monitor and manage departmental emails and action enquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
Receive and respond to outpatient-related telephone enquiries, initiating appropriate action as required.
Manage time-critical bookings and appointment changes in response to emergencies, clinical priorities and individual birth plans.
Work collaboratively with midwives, obstetricians and multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of exceptional maternity care.
Skills and experience
You will bring proven experience in clerical, reception or administrative roles, with a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail. You will be highly organised and able to effectively prioritise competing demands within a busy healthcare environment. Experience coordinating appointments, managing confidential information and working with computerised administration systems will be highly regarded.
You will possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams. Knowledge of medical terminology, patient confidentiality principles and healthcare administration processes will support your success in this role. Experience using Patient Administration Systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook and Excel, is desirable.

Where you'll be working - Moruya

What you'll be doing
Provide evidence based clinical care to patients within your scope of practice and regularly manage patients with more complex treatment needs at oral health facilities across the local health district.
Selection Criteria:
- Dental qualification eligible for registration as a dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventative/population health approach to patient care.
- Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality and abide by the NSW Health Code of Conduct in line with prescribed NSW Health policies and procedures.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise effectively and sensitively with a wide range of individuals.

In this role, you will:
