The stand-alone purpose-built facility offers 8 guests in care beds, 5 family accommodation suites and a unique ‘end of life’ suite.

Your Role as Clinical Nurse
You’ll deliver person-centred services across our Hummingbird Houses to provide meaningful and quality care to children and their families by:
Provide clinical leadership for the clinical teams in Hummingbird House and Hummingbird @ Home to ensure that clinical care aligns with industry standards of best practice, to facilitate safe, timely guest and family outcomes.
Manage own workload and that of others by ensuring appropriate delegation of tasks within individuals’ scope of practice!
Participate in the orientation and onboarding of Registered Nurses, Personal Care Workers, Students and Volunteers
Demonstrate self-awareness and recognition of professional boundaries in clinical nursing practice and role-model these behaviours to staff.
Develop and deliver education in line with identified specialist area/area of practice.
Role model behaviours to all staff adhering to Hummingbird House and WMQ policies, the Australian Council for Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC) Standards and legislative requirements.
Attend meetings as required by the Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Consultant and report back as necessary.
Participate in the development and implementation of evidence-based services/interventions to meet the needs of the patients, families, and significant others.
Participate in the clinical audit process and evaluation of process and service outcomes to facilitate the ongoing external accreditation of the organisation.
Undertake staff appraisals as requested by the Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Consultant

A Valuable Addition, Yet Not a Must-Have!
Knowledge of grief and loss theories with experience in bereavement care.
Post Graduate qualification (or equivalent) in relevant areas such as Palliative Care, Paediatrics, Critical Care, Community or Midwifery, or working toward same.
Recent qualifications in training, mentorship.
Essential Requirements
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work

What you’ll bring

A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification
Minimum 6months experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting

Your Opportunity
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based inthe Anglicare Health Centre, Castle Hill, working Monday to Friday.
As a Physiotherapy Aide, you will support the delivery of physiotherapy services toclients visiting the Health Centre from our Retirement Living (Independent Living)Villages and wider community. This will be through individual and group exercise programs designed to improve mobility, strength, function and overall wellbeing.
With empathy, professionalism and a resident-focused approach, you will:
Service Delivery
Assist with the delivery of individual and group physiotherapy programs as directed by the Physiotherapists
Support residents with prescribed exercise programs and equipment use
Monitor client participation and report changes in condition, behaviour or ability to the Physiotherapists
Facilitate and attend meetings, as well as undertake administrative tasks, as required
Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, care teams and other village staff
Resident Wellbeing and Support
Build positive relationships with residents and their families
Encourage participation in therapy programs and wellness activities
Scheduling andAdministration
Coordinate and manage resident exercise program schedules and appointments
Communicate schedule changes to residents, physiotherapists, care teams and relevant stakeholders
Safety and Workplace Culture
Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment in line with WHS and IMSrequirements
Follow work, health and safety procedures and report hazards appropriately
Support a positive, collaborative and inclusive team culture
What You will Bring
You are a caring and enthusiastic Allied Health professional who enjoys helping older people improve their mobility, confidence and independence.
You will also need:
What's Required
Qualification in Allied Health Assistance, Physiotherapy Assistance or a related discipline
Minimum 2 years' experience supporting exercise programs, rehabilitation or mobility-focused interventions
What's Preferred
Experience scheduling appointments, group activities or therapy services
Experience working within aged care, retirement living or community services
Understanding of mobility, rehabilitation and physiotherapy support programs
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Personal Care Supervisor/ Care Staff Manager (Care Team Leader/ Supervisor), also known as Living Support Manager (Non-Clinical Manager) to join our dynamic team at St Vincent’s Care Services Kew.
In this role you will report directly to the Facility Manager and will be a member the Senior Leadership Team comprising Facility Manager, Clinical Manager and Hospitality Services Manager’s. The role will showcase your unique ability to work collaboratively with other members of the senior team whilst leading and guiding the Living Support/ Care staff Team to support our residents by providing daily personal care enabling residents’ choices and preferences through daily lifestyle activities.
To be successful in this role, you need to be passionate about providing care that is sensitive to individual resident needs and preferences – care that is kind, compassionate and embraces all aspects of individualised care and choice.
You need to have full knowledge and understanding of the current Age Care Quality Standards, along with strong communication, organisational and leadership skills and have the ability to inspire those around you to go the extra distance to provide the best of care, care that is from the heart. Whether you have a clinical background or come from a strong non-clinical leadership role, you bring a solid understanding of contemporary aged care service delivery and a passion for leading and supporting care teams.
