YOUR NEW ROLEWorking from our Launceston office as a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play an instrumental role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability.
Your clinical expertise and guidance will be pivotal in supporting individuals regain independence, improve their quality of life, and reintegrate into the community and the workforce.
- Develop personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation
- Complete a range of assessments including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessment (ADLS).
- Use lateral thinking and forward planning skills to identify potential return to work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones
- Utilise problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants

Your new role
Based in our Busselton office (with flexible hybrid options, and potential split role between Busselton & Margaret River), you'll deliver a mix of therapeutic, assessment, and workplace-focused psychological services across a varied and engaging caseload.
You may work across:
- Therapy and counselling with adults, adolescents, children and couples (EAP, private, and Medicare-rebated clients)
- Workplace support and critical incident response, providing in-the-moment care for organisations and their people
- Injury and compensation work, supporting clients with trauma, adjustment, pain, and recovery following injury
- Psychological assessments to inform treatment and workplace outcomes
- Multidisciplinary collaboration, working alongside rehabilitation consultants and allied health professionals
- Tailored projects and programs to address specific organisational and client needs
With the ability to gradually expand the breadth of services delivered, determined by clinician experience and with high levels of support available, you can enjoy a diverse caseload or tailor your work toward areas of interest and expertise, with flexibility to balance short-term and longer-term client work.
About you
- Psychologist with full or Provisional AHPRA Registration (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- Passionate about helping others and providing high quality therapeutic services
- Passionate about working with young people, particularly those aged 12 and under
- Experience in workers' compensation, injury management or rehabilitation (or a strong interest in developing expertise)
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to obtain a national police check
- A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle

YOUR NEW ROLEThe RTW Coordinator is responsible for implementing an organisation's return to work program, supporting workers as they recover at work and assisting employers in meeting their obligations under workers compensation legislation.
As a RTW Coordinator you will have the opportunity to influence successful outcomes through:
- The safe and sustained return to work of workers
- Decreased lost time impact to the business
- Decreased workers compensation insurance premiums on employers
- Early intervention measures upon receipt of initial notification/referral
- Coordinate required activities to support worker recovery at work
