You'll bring the clinical capability to support people through grief and bereavement, alongside the empathy and sensitivity required to build trust during vulnerable moments.
You can remain calm when supporting people experiencing distress, establish rapport with residents and families and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Importantly, you'll understand the particular needs of older people and families navigating challenges in ageing, including living with dementia, and those who care for them.
What's required:
· Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling.
· Membership of PACFA registered organisation, AASW, APS or similar professional body.
