Slade Health is a national sterile compounding service provider with TGA accredited manufacturing facilities based in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales. That means we produce pharmaceutical products from chemotherapy drugs through to sterile antibiotic and patient nutrition products. We receive orders from hospitals which can be tailored to the specific needs of each individual patient, then our Production Technicians process and dispatch these orders to hospitals for use by patients all around the country.
About the role:Permanent full-time and contract positions, working the morning shift 5:30am - 1:30pm, (Mon - Fri) or 2pm to 10pm (Mon - Thurs) and 1pm to 9pm (Friday), are available at our Geebung site. You will be provided with extensive training and will be responsible for:
- Decontamination of materials
- Printing labels and batch documents
- Compounding/mixing product in the cleanroom
- Checking, packing and labelling final product
- Ensuring completion of documentation
Formal qualifications are not a requirement, because it's more important for every Production Technician to commit to the training; then work efficiently, accurately and with an appreciation for the importance of the quality of the product. Please note, this is a compounding/production role in a sterile manufacturing environment and does not involve any research, microbiology or product testing.

A Master's degree or higher in Clinical Neuropsychology.
Full AHPRA registration with Clinical Neuropsychology endorsement.

Strong neuropsychological report writing and clinical recommendation skills.
An understanding of Aboriginal culture, cultural sensitivities and issues affecting Aboriginal communities.

The NWCC is affiliated with the Northern Cancer Service, situated in the North West Regional Hospital complex and provides direct access to a range of medical, surgical and hospital services required to deliver quality, person-centred cancer care.
The Role
The Clinical Nurse Consultant - Cancer Care Coordinator provides specialised, evidence-based clinical leadership and expert nursing care to patients diagnosed with cancer. The role is integral to ensuring safe, coordinated and patient-centred care from the time of diagnosis through to treatment. The Cancer Care Coordinator utilises advanced clinical knowledge, specialised oncology expertise and strong communication and coordination skills to support patients and their families throughout their cancer journey. This includes providing comprehensive clinical assessment, education and psychosocial support; facilitating timely access to appropriate services; coordinating multidisciplinary care; and assisting patients to navigate complex health systems and treatment pathways. Nurse Consultant works collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health professionals to promote continuity of care and ensure that care is responsive to the individual needs, preferences and circumstances of each patient.
You will needExtensive experience as a registered nurse with demonstrated advanced competence in contemporary cancer care nursing, coordination and management with awareness and understanding that ensures optimal patient care-outcomes across the health continuum.
Undertake comprehensive clinical assessment of patients, identifying physical, psychosocial, emotional, educational and supportive care needs.
Demonstrated high level interpersonal communication, both written and verbal, mediation and conflict resolution skills and a proven ability to educate, influence and be credible to a range of health professionals and consumers.
Well developed and strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate within an inter- disciplinary team and to consult, refer, liaise and negotiate on complex professional, clinical service and health systems issues.

Details of appointmentPermanent part time, day worker position, working 32 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.\ notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
