- Demonstrated ability to critically analyse and apply current research evidence, methodology and approaches required for effective practice.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain collaborative, consultative relationships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) and key organisations to improve access to SEWB training programs delivered face-to-face and online.
- Work as a part of a team to contribute to the development of new or enhance existing high-quality training resources, tools, workshop plans and reports.
- Continuously develop and deepen content knowledge of SEWB training programs by undertaking self-initiated learning, evidence-based research and professional development initiatives.
- Along with other team members, facilitate SEWB training and organisational change programs that are underpinned by trauma informed approaches and provide workforce mentoring and support to ACCHS to apply in practice learning outcomes.
- Undertake projects, initiatives and activities that support best practice models of SEWB and AOD programs as directed by SEWB Manager and Workforce Development Coordinator.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) suitable to a cross-cultural environment and a cross-section of stakeholders including Aboriginal community members, health professionals and senior managers.

About the Role Medical Retina Fellow commencing February 2027
The Medical Retina Unit has two fellowship positions starting February and one starting in August each year. The unit is headed by Dr AmyCohn and there are twenty consultants attached to the unit, all of whom have completed subspecialty fellowship training in retina. The position is a combination of clinical (0.8 FTE) through the Royal Victorian eye and Ear Hospital and research through the Centre for Eye Research Australia / Cerulea (0.2 FTE).
The Fellow attends both Medical Retina and Ocular Immunology Clinics each week. There is also the opportunity for rotation through Ocular Genetics, Vitreo-retinal and Ocular Oncology clinics. Fellows will be rostered to weekly intravitreal injection and laser clinics. There is a fortnightly cataract surgery list primarily for patients with retinal disease. Successful applicants are expected to have experience in retinal laser, intravitreal injections and cataract surgery. There is a weekly angiogram meeting for interesting case discussion and teaching. In addition, fellows will have the opportunity to present at department meetings.
The research is supervised by Professor Robyn Guymer (Head of Macular Research Unit) and Professor Lyndell Lim (Head of Uveitis and Retinal Vascular Disease Research). Two sessions per week are dedicated to research and ongoing involvement with trials supervised by the Macular Research Unit and Clinical Trials Unit.
The Medical Retina Fellow participates in the Emergency Department roster with hours ranging from 0745 to 2200 and Saturday or Sunday shifts as rostered. After hours on call will be required.
Salary and conditions of employment for the clinical fellows will be in accordance with the Australian Medical Association (Victoria) Doctors-in-Training Agreement .

Position Description Local Work Environment St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) operates three Residential Aged Care Services (RACS) facilities - Berengarra, Auburn House and Prague House - collectively providing permanent and respite care for 165 residents. Services include mainstream aged care, psychogeriatric care and spe ialist programs supporting people with mental health diagnoses, acquired brain injuries and/or a history of homelessness. All facilities are registered NDIS providers. The position is primarily based at St George's Health Service in Kew, with responsibilities across campuses and residential aged care sites. RACS forms part of SVHM's Continuing Care Program, alongside Subacute Services, Bed Based Transition Care, Community Services and Healthcare for the Homeless.

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
A flexible temporary part-time opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse Educator. - Lead and deliver engaging education and training programs that build workforce capability and support excellence in Community Aged Care practice.
