WHERE YOU'LL BE AND WHAT YOU'LL DOOrroroo is a welcoming rural town located 257 kilometres north of Adelaide, ideally positioned at the crossroads of the Sydney–Perth Highway and the Adelaide–Blinman route through the breathtaking Flinders Ranges. Serving as a vital hub for the surrounding agricultural region, Orroroo is a picturesque farming community known for its wheat, wool, sheep, and cattle production—and for its strong sense of connection and pride.
The town offers excellent local amenities, including three coffee shops, a bakery, gift shops, hotels, sporting clubs, and well-established community facilities. Families are supported by education from pre-school through to Year 12, alongside essential services such as a local police station. Combined, these features create a relaxed, friendly lifestyle that blends country charm with modern convenience.
Orroroo Health Service and Orroroo Community Home form an integral part of the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network and are highly regarded for their warm, supportive culture and high standard of care.
Orroroo Community Home is a 16-bed residential aged care facility, staffed by a dedicated team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Direct Care Workers. Nurses work collaboratively across services and are well supported with:
- 24/7 access to medical officers (with after-hours on-call)
- South Australian Virtual Emergency Service (SAVES)
- After-hours on-call nursing support

What You'll be doing
Provide clinical management and treatment of patients in a SWSLHD facility under your care. This care will be provided within the clinical privileges granted by the CE on the advice of the SWSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee.As one of the Staff Specialists in this Unit, you will primarily take part in the clinical duties of the TACS unit and cover Trauma and ASU (Acute Surgical Unit) as well as participate in the General Surgery on call after hours roster.Coordination and management of the acute resuscitation and treatment of multiple injured patients, emergency general surgery patients and coordination of acute care between multiple services and disciplines is a major focus of the role.You will also be expected to assist the department in the running of Trauma, General Surgery, and Acute Surgery clinics as well as participate in unit elective and emergency surgical operating lists.

Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicatedVisiting Medical Officerin Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertilityto join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital!
The primary purpose of the role of Visiting Medical Officer in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility is to provide high quality diagnostic, consultative and surgical specialty services in Gynaecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI), and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Gynaecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Department and RPAH as required.
The appointee to this position will be a specialist medical practitioner holding FRANZCOG, with subspecialty certification in REI (or progressing toward this) and have appropriate medical and surgical expertise and experience to provide clinical services in reproductive endocrinology, infertility (including assisted conception) and fertility preservation.
The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) with either subspecialist Certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), or having been selected by the RANZCOG National subspecialty selection process for CREI training.
Positions are currently available. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from date of application, may be considered.

Join Eyre and Far North Local Health Network as a Clinical Nurse - Community Mental Health, providing high-quality, person-centred mental health care to consumers and their families across the community.
Based in Port Lincoln or Ceduna, with location negotiable, this role offers the opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess consumer needs, coordinate care and deliver therapeutic interventions that support recovery and wellbeing. Key responsibilities
- Provide proficient, person-centred mental health nursing care and case management, including assessment, care planning, therapeutic interventions, monitoring outcomes and promoting continuity of care.
- Provide clinical leadership within the multidisciplinary team, coordinating services, supporting patient flow and contributing to the resolution of clinical and service delivery issues.
- Support the development of others through clinical teaching, supervision and guidance of students and less experienced staff, while contributing to a positive learning and professional development culture.
- Contribute to quality improvement, clinical auditing, research and service development, including the implementation of evidence-based practice, clinical protocols, guidelines and change initiatives.
What You'll Bring
- Are you a Registered Nurse with at least three years’ post-registration experience, who holds or is eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and has, or is undertaking, a recognised mental health qualification?
- Do you have demonstrated competence in mental health nursing, with the ability to provide person-centred, consumer and family-focused care and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions?
- Are you an effective communicator and problem solver who can work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, coordinate care and resolve clinical issues?
- Do you have experience supporting and guiding student nurses and less experienced staff, with the ability to prioritise workloads, work independently and contribute to continuous quality improvement?
- Are you committed to culturally appropriate care for Aboriginal consumers and families, with an understanding of relevant legislation, professional standards, confidentiality and contemporary mental health nursing practice?

About the Role
The Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) Project Lead will coordinate, monitor and report on the implementation of LCLHN’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan and Autism Action Plan (AAP), ensuring commitments progress within established timeframes.
Working across the organisation, you will collaborate with leaders, staff, carers, consumers and key external partners to advance disability and autism initiatives. You will support action leads, coordinate the DAIP Working Group, develop project documentation and reporting, and build strategic partnerships that strengthen inclusive practices and improve services for people with disability and/or autism.

About You
You are an organised and collaborative project professional with strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills. You understand the issues affecting people with disability and can work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups to progress projects, influence outcomes and support meaningful improvements in disability access, autism inclusion and service delivery.
To succeed in the DAIP Project Lead role, you will:
- Demonstrate experience managing projects to successful outcomes, including project documentation and reporting.
- Bring excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills, including quality report writing and the preparation of policy submissions and funding applications.
- Build rapport and effective working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the current policy context, issues and services impacting people with disability, together with an understanding of equity and disadvantage in the community.
- Effectively manage time, priorities and competing demands to achieve specific objectives and deliver priority projects.
A degree or diploma in social sciences, community development, health or health promotion, social work or a similar discipline and/or experience working with people with disability and organisations is desirable. Experience engaging people with disability and disability organisations and developing initiatives that advance disability access and inclusion is also desirable. People with disability and/or autism are strongly encouraged to apply.

About the Role
Woking alongside the NUM, you'll provide clinical and operational leadership across the medical ward. You'll help coordinate the delivery of care, support staff and student nurses, and contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Provide clinical leadership and support high-quality patient care.
- Assist with staff coordination, rostering, leave and performance processes.
- Support team development through teaching, mentoring and supervision.
- Contribute to practice improvement, clinical auditing and evidence-based care.

About You
You're an experienced Nurse or Midwife with at least 3 years post-registration experience, including supervision of staff and students. You must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

Paediatrics at Royal North Shore Hospital consists of acute in-patient services, emergency services provided in the designated Paediatric area of the Emergency Department, Hospital in the Home (HITH), ambulatory care and out-patient services within the Child and Adolescent Unit. Royal North Shore is a busy Level 5 paediatric department which usually sees >15,000 Paediatric patients per year in the Emergency Department, 15% require admission to the in-patient unit.
Purpose of the Position
You will provide clinical management and treatment of patients under your care in a Northern Sydney Local Health District facility or service. This care will be provided within the scope of clinical practice endorsed by the NSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee.
The position will provide clinical consultation services within NSLHD and will contribute to the teaching and training of medical students, graduates and other health care professionals and to research, evaluation and quality improvement activities within NSLHD.
This position is temporary with the possibility of extension based on performance, funding and need
Selection Criteria
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Paediatric and Child Health Division) or recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within 3 months may be considered.
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Sound clinical knowledge in General Paediatrics demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position including evidence of participation in quality assurance activities relevant to the specialty.
- Demonstrated clinical, diagnostic and technical skills commensurate with functioning as an independent General Paediatrics Consultant
- High level interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead and work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated participation in and commitment to undergraduate, postgraduate, interdisciplinary teaching and education, including research, quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
- Preparedness to participate in any on-call service, including on-call rosters already existing or established.

About The Opportunity
COPILOT is a dynamic and exciting service that provides rapid access to multi-disciplinary geriatric assessment (medical, nursing, and allied health) for older people living in the community setting. Referral enables care to be implemented in the patient’s home environment, whether that be in RACH's or their own homes, avoiding unnecessary transfer to hospital and leading to improved patient outcomes.
The COPILOT VMO will provide a high quality clinical service to older people and their families/carers to optimise health outcomes and support clients keeping well in the community. The VMO will provide comprehensive geriatric assessments and evidence-based care to clients residing in their own homes or nursing homes for acute care with the goal of avoiding unnecessary transfer to hospital.
The COPILOT VMO will need strong clinical leadership and decision making skills, have relevant clinical experience in the Aged Care speciality, and preferentially experience in providing community-based care both in a direct and virtual capacity. The position requires compliance with mandatory clinical administration duties, and participation in an on-call roster. The successful candidate should have strong communication skills, be efficient and have excellent time-management skills, and a willingness to join a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary district-wide service.

About the Role
Join CALHN as a Lung Cancer Respiratory Nurse Consultant and play a key role in coordinating expert, person-centred care for people with lung cancer. You’ll guide patients throughout their treatment journey, provide specialist clinical leadership and connect multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, evidence-based care.
