Orthopaedic Research Clinician – Outcomes & Practice
Lead and facilitate research that directly shapes how orthopaedic care is delivered across Southern Adelaide. If you're a clinician who believes rigorous research and quality patient outcomes go hand in hand, this is the role where your skills will have lasting impact
About the role:
Reporting to the Clinical Director, this role will facilitate Research in the Department of Orthopaedics with an emphasis on measured outcomes.
Duties for the role will include:
- Follow up studies to ensure satisfactory patient outcomes in conjunction with senior consultants
- Implementing/monitoring and ensuring compliance with clinical standards and best practice
- Implementation of best evidence practice, Gap analyses, Auditing
- Coordination of medical students’ research projects (advanced studies)
- Coordination of PhD students and Research Fellows working within the department involved in project design, ethics applications, etc.,
About you:
- Degree or equivalent qualification that entitles registration as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist in Australia
- Ability to assume responsibility for the development and completion of outcomes assessment projects
- Experience in setting up and completing relevant projects as evidenced by presentations and publications
- Experience conducting clinical assessments of patients with orthopaedic conditions
- Ability to be able to evaluate research studies

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our Brisbane Northside Emergency team on a casual basis. St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside is an acute tertiary private Catholic hospital. We are known for our comprehensive critical care, as well as inpatient and day patient services across a diverse range of medical and surgical disciplines. Our hospital has 227 beds, 9 operating theatres, 2 cardiac catheter laboratories, a 17-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Day Oncology Unit, Breast Health Centre, Endoscopy Unit, Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit and a 24-hour, private emergency centre provided by Brisbane Northside Emergency. Our specialties include breast health, cancer care, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery and orthopaedics.

About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for a Grade 3 Social Worker to join Monash Health’s Secure Extended Care Unit (SECU) at Dandenong Hospital in a full-time, ongoing position. Working within an experienced multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide specialist psychosocial assessment and intervention to consumers experiencing severe and persistent mental health challenges.
You’ll manage a varied caseload, working closely with consumers, families and carers to support recovery and address the broader social factors that can impact successful community transition. In this role, you will:
- Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment and intervention
- Lead complex discharge planning and community transition
- Support consumers and families to navigate the NDIS and community services
- Respond to complex needs including housing, family violence and financial hardship
- Facilitate psychosocial group programs
- Provide supervision and support to junior Social Workers and students
About SECU
SECU is a 50-bed service at Dandenong Hospital providing medium to long-term treatment and rehabilitation for people experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. Our multidisciplinary team works alongside consumers to strengthen independence, support recovery and create pathways towards community living.
About You
You are an experienced Social Worker who brings strong clinical judgement, compassion and a commitment to recovery-oriented care. You will bring:
- A recognised Social Work qualification and eligibility for AASW membership
- Mental health or relevant complex clinical experience
- Strong psychosocial assessment, intervention and case management skills
- Knowledge of the NDIS and broader community service systems
- Confidence working with complex psychosocial needs
- Strong communication, advocacy and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- An ability to supervise and support developing Social Workers and students

About the Department / Program
The Monash Health Gender Clinic is Australia's longest-established gender service, providing statewide care for transgender, gender diverse and non-binary (TGDNB) people. Our multidisciplinary team delivers gender-affirming care, peer support, education and advocacy, while working to improve access and outcomes for TGDNB communities. This role works within a collaborative team of peer workers, psychology, psychiatry, social work, speech pathology, endocrinology and administration professionals.
About the Role
Join our team as a Consumer Peer Worker Level 3 on a part-time (0.6 EFT, 3 days a week), ongoing basis at the Monash Health Gender Clinic, located within the Victorian Pride Centre in St Kilda.
Drawing on your lived experience as a trans, gender diverse or non-binary person, you will provide intentional peer support to consumers accessing the Gender Clinic and contribute to a supportive, recovery-oriented service.

About You

- Experience working in a peer worker or lived experience role within health or community services.

About the Role
St Vincent's offers a unique and highly specialized paid Mental Health Cadetship Program encompassing adult and aged mental health, in acute and community settings. Mental Health Nursing Cadetships offer paid employment experience, professional support to students undertaking a Bachelor/Masters of Nursing degree. Cadets undertake shifts at St Vincent’s Hospital for a total of 30 shifts over the year to enhance the development of their skills and knowledge in mental health nursing, and assist with the successful completion of their studies. Cadets will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Mental Health Clinician to observe and provide support across an array of clinical areas, within a defined scope of practice.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Supporting consumers throughout their recovery journeys and working alongside the multidisciplinary team
• Actively upholding a culture of hope by using optimistic language, supporting people and celebrating consumer’s recovery efforts;
• Supporting consumers with available resources to achieve their recovery goals through education and support around coping strategies and symptom management
• Actively challenging stigmatizing attitudes, discrimination and social exclusion in line with the Recovery Model of Mental Health Care.

About the role
The Senior Accounts Payable Officer plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable functions. Working as part of a team of finance professionals, the role is responsible for processing supplier and miscellaneous invoices, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring payments are made accurately and on time in accordance with agreed payment terms and organisational policies.
The role partners with the Accounts Payable Team Leader to ensure the accurate, efficient, and timely processing of supplier payments. The role is responsible for meeting service level agreements, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and financial controls. Working closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation, including Procurement, operational teams, and invoice authorisers, the Senior Accounts Payable Officer helps facilitate a smooth and effective accounts payable process. The role also serves as a key liaison with suppliers, proactively resolving payment queries, invoice discrepancies, and other issues to maintain positive supplier relationships and support business continuity.
This is a permanent full-time role based at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities.
Key Responsibilities include
- Distribute invoices to relevant facilities and stakeholders for approval, following up with authorisers to ensure timely processing.
- Collaborate with operational teams, enabling services, and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and supplier disputes.
- Manage and respond to Accounts Payable enquiries from suppliers and internal stakeholders via phone and email.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain missing invoice documentation and ensure invoices are processed and paid within agreed payment terms.
- Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.

- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, financial controls, and audit requirements.

About You

The Grade 3 Social Worker is responsible for the provision of Mental Health Social Work services at the Acute Inpatient Service. The Social Work Grade 3 Clinician is expected to work independently whilst at the same time contributing strongly to the multidisciplinary mental healthcare team, and to initiate and participate in teaching, training, research and quality activities.
- Work under the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 to skilfully engage consumers, carers, families and supporters
- Co-ordinate, oversee and monitor discharge planning as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Provide crisis intervention for discharge plans where required
- Work within MARAM and Information Sharing framework
- Liaise with other St Vincent’s Mental Health services and external agencies to ensure effective and efficient discharge is managed
- Liaise with community groups and relevant agencies to develop and review community networks which enhance continuity of care
- Supervise and provide training to social students and other non social work staff according to service policy, University Schools of Social Work and AASW requirements
Your Contribution
- Approved degree in Social Work, and eligible for membership of AASW
- Minimum of 2 years post qualification in mental health (desirable)
- Overseas qualified Social Workers require endorsement by AASW and be able to provide evidence of this

About St Vincent’s Mental Health
St. Vincent’s Mental Health (SVMH) includes an adult area mental health service for the inner city areas of Yarra and Boroondara. The adult mental health service components are: The Footbridge Community Care Unit (CCU), the 44 bed Acute Inpatient Service (AIS) located on the St. Vincent’s Hospital site, the North Fitzroy PARC and two community mental health services (CMHS) at Hawthorn and East Melbourne (Clarendon CMHS). Community mental health services comprise the Triage and Crisis assessment and Treatment (CAT) Service and the Primary Intervention Care Team (PICT) includes Extended Triage and HOPE (Suicide Prevention), Continuing Care (CCT), Mobile Support and Treatment (MST) and Homeless Outreach (CHOPS) services. A Consultation & Liaison Service is provided to the health service. NEXUS Dual Diagnosis Service, the Body Image and Eating Disorders Assessment and Treatment Service (BETRS) and NEVIL Training Cluster are regional services. About the Opportunity
The role of the Payroll Coordinator provides a high standard of support to enable successful and smooth payroll processing across HammondCare Residential. The Payroll Officer assists in the process and maintenance of accurate and up to date payroll records and contributes to ensuring HammondCare meets legislative requirements, in addition to supporting with the running of payroll operations each fortnight and weekly adjustment run.
This is a permanent role with hybrid working opportunities.
The role can be based at St Leonards in Sydney or either Malvern, Caulfield or Yarraville in Melbourne.
How you’ll make an impact
Payroll Processing & Administration
- Support the accurate and timely processing of the fortnightly payroll, including employee changes, leave, deductions and other payroll transactions
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records, ensuring new starter information, leave balances and payroll data are processed correctly and on time
- Process termination payments, ETPs, overpayment recoveries, purchased leave and other payroll calculations and entitlements
- Prepare payroll reports and provide ad hoc reporting as required
Payroll Compliance
- Support payroll compliance with relevant legislation, Awards and Agreements, including PAYG tax, superannuation, salary sacrifice and other statutory or authorised deductions
- Maintain current knowledge of payroll legislation, processes, procedures and best practices through ongoing learning and use of training and process documentation
Employee & Manager Support
- Provide timely and professional payroll support and guidance to employees and managers, including queries relating to Workday and UKG (Time & Attendance)
- Manage Salesforce payroll cases professionally and efficiently, working towards independently resolving enquiries where appropriate
- Deliver a professional, accurate and customer-focused payroll service to employees and stakeholders
Payroll Systems & Problem Solving
- Develop proficiency in UKG and other payroll systems, including investigating and troubleshooting payroll and time and attendance issues
- Build technical payroll knowledge and problem-solving capability to independently manage increasingly complex payroll matters
- Identify issues and work collaboratively to support effective and accurate payroll outcomes
Teamwork & Continuous Development
- Work collaboratively with the Payroll team and broader business to achieve payroll objectives and provide a high-quality service
- Strengthen payroll knowledge through ongoing learning, training and practical application
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and teamwork
About you
- Commitment to engage with and align to HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
- Minimum two years’ Australian payroll experience, with sound end-to-end payroll knowledge and understanding of payroll best practices
- Strong experience in process improvement, quality and compliance.
- Strong organisational, time management and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships, influence outcomes, and work both independently and collaborativel
- Experience using Chris21/iChris and KRONOS/KRONOS Dimensions is highly regarded.
- Relevant industry experience is desirable.

About the Role
As a clinical role, it will draw on your knowledge of mental health legislation and policy, including intake, mental state and risk assessment, and crisis intervention. You'll work predominantly in an outreach capacity, meeting consumers in the community, though you may also provide onsite/office-based assessments and reviews where appropriate. This position works a rotating roster of morning, afternoon/evening and weekend shifts, in line with core service demands.

This will ensure comprehensive assessment, collaborative treatment planning and appropriate referral for consumers experiencing acute mental health issues across the lifespan.

Your Role as Administration and Intake Officer
In this role you will support the efficient delivery of The Way Back Support Service and Suicide Prevention Services by managing referrals, conducting intake screenings, and coordinating key administrative functions. Working closely with service managers, this role helps ensure a high-quality, responsive service for individuals, families, and friends accessing support.
A typical day-to-day could involve:
- Processing referrals, conduct intake screenings, and coordinate follow-up contact for individuals accessing services.
- Maintaining compliance with organisational, funding, and accreditation requirements across suicide prevention programs.
- Managing program documentation, including registrations, insurances, service agreements, and staff credentials.
- Providing high-quality administrative and reception support, including phone enquiries, records management, and office coordination.
- Preparing invoices, reconcile corporate credit cards, and support accurate financial administration processes.
- Coordinating staff onboarding, induction, training records, and recruitment administration activities.
- Organising meetings and events, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and stakeholder coordination.
- Overseeing operational support functions such as fleet management, WHS requirements, IT coordination, maintenance scheduling, and office supplies.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a fixed term position until 30/06/2027.

What We’re Looking For
- Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Practice Management, Community Services or a related field, and/or experience in a similar administration role within the mental health or community services sector.
- Strong administrative and systems experience, including proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to manage multiple databases and technology platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide professional support to clients, clinicians, staff, and stakeholders.
- Exceptional organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills, with experience supporting people experiencing distress and managing competing priorities to meet deadlines.

Your opportunity
As a Registered Nurse working Thu and Fri nights, you will provide safe, compassionate clinical care for residents with diverse and complex needs. You will work closely with residents, families and the multidisciplinary team to identify changes early and support each resident’s quality of life

What’s required:
- Availability to work Thursday and Friday nights

- Clear written and verbal communication skills

Clinical knowledge
You understand how to recognise and respond to changes in a resident’s condition, including reduced oral intake, dehydration, weight loss, confusion or delirium, falls risk, reduced mobility, skin concerns and pressure injury risk.
You also understand the importance of monitoring and preventing issues included in the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program, such as falls, pressure injuries, unplanned weight loss, medication-related harm, infections, restrictive practices and changes in resident wellbeing.
Experience and development
Aged care or other relevant clinical experience is valued but not essential. We welcome nurses who bring a fresh perspective, a willingness to learn and a positive approach. You will be supported to build your knowledge and confidence within residential aged care.
Casual availability
For casual roles, flexibility is important. You should be available across a range of shifts and willing to assist at short notice occasionally when unexpected staffing needs arise.
