We also strongly encourage senior Grade 2 clinicians who may be ready to move into a Grade 3 role. This role will work in our rehabilitation team across Outpatient Neurology, our Parkinson's disease program & neuro-oncology homecare service and management of the Cabrini home-based palliative care service. This role will also provide clinical support and guidance for staff working at Brighton in the inpatient rehabilitation caseload. We will work with the successful applicant to support this.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist current clinical knowledge & skills in the area of rehabilitation.
• Ensures the provision of clinical services is responsive to the needs of Cabrini patients.
• Leads goal setting & team objectives for relevant clinical services, as a senior member of the Allied Health team.
• Maintenance of ongoing personal professional development/continuing education.
• Initiates, implements and evaluates research and encourages staff to participate in research and quality projects.

About you

• Along with your passion for speech pathology, you will have experience working with patients with communication & swallowing deficits of neurological origin; and experience working with patients who present with Parkinson's disease.
• Experience working with palliative care patients is advantageous.
• Videofluoroscopy competency & LSVT certification is desirable.
• You will have: Membership of Speech Pathology Australia.

About the role

Cabrini Health Pharmacy Departments are located at Malvern and Brighton and provide a range of patient-centred pharmacy services to Cabrini patients, including clinical pharmacy, dispensing, procurement, aseptic and cytotoxic compounding, and clinical trial management. Our team has two Senior Pharmacy Technician (Specialist) positions available to lead our team of Pharmacy Technicians across Aseptic Compounding and Dispensary areas. We advocate the Quality Use of Medications which involved the safe, appropriate, effective, and cost-effective use of medications across the continuum of care. The role is Monday to Friday and there may be weekend shifts, working between Cabrini Malvern and Cabrini Brighton.

Key responsibilities

• Training of Pharmacy Technicians (unqualified and qualified levels)

About you

You will be a skilled Senior Pharmacy Technician with experience in a hospital setting preferred.

What the role involves

We are seeking an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to lead our allied health education and student program at Cabrini. The Allied Health Clinical Educator is responsible for coordinating student placements, supporting clinical supervisors, building university partnerships and promoting a culture of learning, teaching and professional development across Allied Health services. This role is a co-funded role, in partnership with Monash University, and as such, includes specific duties related to Monash Physiotherapy education and must be held by a Physiotherapist.

This a part-time (30 hours per week) fixed term role commencing in February 2027. The role is primarily based at Cabrini Malvern but involves visiting other Cabrini sites and teaching undergraduate physiotherapists approximately one day per week at Monash University Frankston. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate Allied Health and Allied Health Assistant student placements across Cabrini. 

• Support and develop clinical supervisors through education, mentoring and resources. 

• Foster strong partnerships with universities and education providers. 
• Teach undergraduate physiotherapy students at Monash University Frankston

• Lead student orientation, placement and evaluation processes. 

• Contribute to staff education, professional development and inter-professional learning initiatives.

About you

• Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.

Cabrini’s Day Oncology and Infusion Centre provides patients with access to a comprehensive range of cancer treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and specialised infusion therapies.

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our ward in a casual capacity. This position is dedicated to infusion services and is suited to nurses with existing infusion experience who are confident in cannulation, CVAD management and have completed chemotherapy training.

You will deliver safe, evidence-based care to patients undergoing treatment, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive patient experience and high standards of clinical care.

 

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other prescribed infusion treatments in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Perform peripheral cannulation and manage vascular access devices, including PICCs and implanted ports.
• Monitor patients during treatment, recognise and respond to potential complications, and provide appropriate clinical support.

Medical Imaging Department
Cabrini’s Medical Imaging provides a 24-hour service seven days a week at our Malvern campus. The department services a variety of patients including outpatients, inpatients and ED patients across our Malvern and Brighton campuses. Modalities include General Xray, Cath Lab, Hybrid Lab, Angiography, CT, MRI, Mammography and DEXA. We also offer Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging.

How you will make an impact:

As a Medical Imaging Assistant in our Medical Imaging department at Cabrini Malvern Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work within a supportive team where we work closely together to achieve the best patient outcomes and provide a high standard of care. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with initiative and energy to work and develop in a fast paced environment.

The role will be for casual shifts from Monday to Friday. Weekend and Public Holiday shifts may also be available.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing support and assistance, under the direction of a Radiographer or other clinical staff

Medical Imaging Department
Cabrini’s Medical Imaging provides a 24-hour service seven days a week at our Malvern campus. The department services a variety of patients including outpatients, inpatients and ED patients across our Malvern and Brighton campuses. Modalities include General Xray, Cath Lab, Hybrid Lab, Angiography, CT, MRI, Mammography and DEXA. We also offer Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging.

How you will make an impact:

As a Medical Imaging Assistant in our Medical Imaging department at Cabrini Malvern Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work within a supportive team where we work closely together to achieve the best patient outcomes and provide a high standard of care. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with initiative and energy to work and develop in a fast paced environment.

The role will be for casual shifts from Monday to Friday. Weekend and Public Holiday shifts may also be available.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing support and assistance, under the direction of a Radiographer or other clinical staff

About the Role

As a Waste & Recycling Attendant at Cabrini Health, you will assist with the daily transportation of waste and recycling bins, as well as the maintenance of the central waste facility and waste holding areas. The position is essential in minimising the risk of infection, optimising staff experience and aligning with the environmental footprint.

Permanent part-time role will generally be Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends. Shifts are across AM and PM hours (8AM-5PM or 3PM-11PM).

Key responsibilities include:

• Working efficiently and collaboratively with the Domestic Services team and the Contracted Services Coordinator
• Daily management of waste transportation across the hospital within the stipulated guidelines and frameworks and as requested
• Segregating various recycling streams such as cardboard, PVC, sterile wraps, bottle tops and batteries
• Operating all machinery and transportation equipment in a safe and secure manner
• Managing the waste bins within the waste holding areas at Cabrini Malvern in a safe and secure manner

 

About you

You will be motivated, self-driven and resourceful, with an eye for detail and a can-do attitude.

You will also have the following:

• Previous experience in waste management (desirable)
• Comfortability with heavy lifting and working on your feet for long periods
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, but with high levels of respect for others and the working environment
• Good communication skills and a team player
• Basic knowledge of OHS management requirements

About the role

Opportunities are now available for experienced hospitality trained Patient Food Services Assistants to join our Patient Food Service team on a casual basis and make a valuable contribution to the patient experience at Cabrini Health. Applicants need to be prepared to work a range of shifts across a seven-day work week, including day and evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Our Cardiac Catheter Labs 

Cabrini’s three Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories perform over 3000 procedures a year. More than 30 cardiologists, representing diagnostic, interventional and electrophysiology cardiology, have regular sessions within the Laboratory. Our Cath Labs are technology-driven, patient-focused, and designed for excellence. With advanced Interventional, Electrophysiology (EP), and Structural Heart capabilities, we are committed to providing the highest standard of cardiac care in a collective and innovative environment. 

 

Our Cardiac Catheter Labs are housed in a state-of-the-art and rapidly expanding Perioperative Services facility, with 24 operating theatres—including a hybrid theatre, three endoscopy suites and three cardiac catheter labs. As part of our growth, we have recently added an additional world class catheter lab and four theatres, further increasing our capability and capacity in 2026. 

 Elective services are offered Monday to Friday however a 24 hour on-call service is available to support the Emergency Department and the Intensive Care Unit. 

About the role: 

Our trained Cardiac Technicians / Cardiac Physiologist are responsible for providing a high-quality service in physiological monitoring and ECG interpretation during cardiac procedures and/or pacemaker testing. 

Our technicians practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and delegation of care in accordance with legislation and protocols.

• Take on a pivotal role in a high-performing team delivering support for Interventional, EP, and Structural procedures

What we’re looking for: 

• Must hold a Cardiac Technicians Certificate/diploma or relevant tertiary degree 

• Strong clinical skills in ECG interpretation in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting 

• Experience in interventional, and structural heart procedures (12-18 months experience preferred), with EP skills desired or a willing commitment from our candidate to upskill to EP procedures 

• A commitment to clinical excellence and quality patient care 

• A vision for team development and service expansion 

• Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation 

• Flexibility and a positive attitude 

• Attention to detail 

• Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment 

• Excellent customer service focus and communication skills
