The Clinical Project Lead - Dementia Model of Care will lead the implementation and evaluation of Calvary's Dementia Model of Care across hospital, residential aged care and home care services.
Working collaboratively with consumers, families, carers, clinicians and operational leaders, the role will support the delivery of consistent, person-centred and evidence-informed dementia care across Calvary services. The position will lead project activities, stakeholder engagement, education and capability-building initiatives to embed the model of care and improve outcomes and experiences for people living with dementia and their families.
The role will partner closely with service leaders and frontline teams to assess readiness, monitor implementation, address barriers, and drive continuous improvement and sustainable practice change.
Your main duties will include:
- Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the Dementia Model of Care across designated Calvary services and care settings, ensuring consistent and sustainable adoption.
- Lead consultation and co-design with people living with dementia, families, carers, staff and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring lived experience informs implementation and evaluation.
- Develop and manage implementation plans and governance, including scope, milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and escalation of risks and issues.
- Assess service readiness and support local implementation, working with operational leaders and teams to identify barriers, enablers, priorities and opportunities for local adaptation.
- Build capability and embed evidence-based practice by supporting implementation champions and developing education, resources, coaching and practical tools aligned with the model of care.
- Monitor, evaluate and drive improvement, using implementation data, quality indicators and stakeholder feedback to measure impact, identify variation, inform recommendations and support the long-term sustainability of the model.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a health discipline (e.g. nursing, medicine, allied health).
- Experience coordinating and delivering healthcare or aged care improvement projects.
- Demonstrated understanding of dementia care and person-centred practice.
- Experience engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, including clinicians, operational leaders, consumers and families.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills, including management of timelines, work plans and deliverables.
- Highly developed communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Values-driven leadership with a strong commitment to dignity, compassion and person-centred care
- Experience working across integrated care systems.
- Experience leading change in large, complex healthcare organisations.
- Understanding of digital health systems and data-driven improvement.

As the Senior Category Manager - Clinical, you will lead the strategy, prioritisation and delivery of Calvary's clinical procurement portfolio.
Reporting to the Director Sourcing, you will set portfolio priorities, allocate work and provide formal people leadership across the clinical sourcing team.
You will own the consolidated clinical sourcing pipeline, review and endorse category strategies and sourcing recommendations, and lead Calvary's most complex, enterprise-wide and commercially significant clinical procurement initiatives.
Working closely with executive and senior clinical stakeholders, you will drive strong commercial, operational and strategic outcomes across the portfolio. You will be accountable for the team's aggregate savings and benefits, compliance, supplier performance and risk outcomes, while ensuring procurement activity delivers sustainable value for Calvary.
Your main duties will include:
- Lead the clinical category portfolio, setting strategic direction across spend analysis, market assessment, category strategy, sourcing, product standardisation and supplier management.
- Lead complex, enterprise-wide clinical sourcing and negotiations, including major RFTs, strategic panels, sole-source arrangements and commercially material contracts.
- Set portfolio priorities and provide governance, allocating work across Category Managers and reviewing and endorsing category strategies, sourcing plans, evaluation recommendations and contract awards.
- Partner with senior stakeholders, engaging executives, clinical, operational and finance leaders to align on sourcing priorities, standardisation, commercial decisions and risk.
- Drive portfolio performance and value, monitoring savings and benefits, pipeline delivery, contract compliance, supplier performance, supply continuity and material risks.
- Ensure clinical procurement compliance and resilience, including TGA/ARTG requirements, safety and quality standards, market intelligence, and effective resolution of escalated supplier and commercial issues.
- Minimum 8 years' procurement experience, including substantial senior-level category management experience across clinical categories or similarly complex and regulated portfolios.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, enterprise-wide and commercially material sourcing processes and contract negotiations with significant clinical, commercial or supply outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in spend analysis, supply market assessment, Total Cost of Ownership evaluation and benefits realisation.
- Demonstrated accountability for portfolio prioritisation, a consolidated sourcing pipeline and aggregate savings, benefits, compliance and risk outcomes.
- Proven ability to engage, influence and align executive, senior clinical, operational and finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated formal people-management experience, including objective setting, performance management, work allocation, capability development and quality assurance.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and endorsing category strategies and sourcing recommendations and quality-assuring the work of category management professionals.
- High standard of written communication including category strategies, sourcing plans, board-quality recommendation papers and contract briefs.
- Tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain, commerce, law or a related discipline.
- MCIPS or equivalent professional procurement qualification.
- Experience in healthcare, aged care, not-for-profit or complex multi-site service environments.
