The Team
The Community Services Support team in System Management and Reform is responsible for overseeing national and state priorities and initiatives, commissioning, funding and planning to implement whole-of-government system projects and reform in disability services and reform, aging and older Tasmanians policy and programs and family violence services.

The Role
The Principal Policy Analyst provides policy advice to support the effective and efficient development of whole‑of‑government initiatives, policy and disability programs at state and national levels, including the development and implementation of new Australian Government policy directions, reforms and programs, including the interface with the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
You will need
- Demonstrated high-level knowledge and experience in policy analysis, policy development, strategic planning and project management within a complex environment.
- Demonstrated high level project management and leadership skills, including experience in formulating and managing complex and diverse projects, including determining milestones and objectives, and providing solutions and recommendations that support service delivery outcomes.
- Proven experience in providing a high level of initiative, adaptability and flexibility, together with the ability to deal with pressure, balance competing interests and stakeholder views, and positively manage change and adapt to new situations.

The Team
The Billing and Revenue Collection Project will deliver an enterprise billing and revenue platform as well as uplifted and future-ready business capability that reliably supports Activity Based Funding, Medicare, and private patient billing across the Tasmanian public health system.
The project will ensure compliant, end-to-end funding and revenue pathways, reduce financial and audit risk, and provide a resilient foundation for current operations and future digital health transformation.
The Role
By understanding front-line business activities and challenges, the Consultant – Business Analysis considers people, policies, processes, clinical governance frameworks, and technology, to support hospitals, health and corporate services in identifying effective solutions underpinned by technology that meets business requirements, delivers measurable benefits, and contributes to the effective initiation and management of projects.
Experience in health billing and revenue is highly regarded. This includes working knowledge of Medicare claiming (including bulk billing and ECLIPSE), private patient election and health fund claiming, compensable and Medicare-ineligible patient billing. Candidates who understand how patient registration, clinical documentation and coding flow through to compliant claims and revenue will be well placed to translate operational needs into system and process requirements.
You will need
- Highly developed business analysis skills, including demonstrated experience in analysing business processes and thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Significant expertise in project management together with high level skills and extensive experience in the analysis and implementation of business process improvements and change management.
- High level interpersonal, communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and the demonstrated ability to identify and negotiate mutually acceptable solutions in situations of differing interest.

The Role
Provide clerical support to ensure the effective coordination and efficient operation of Outpatient reception services.
Accurately collect, enter, and maintain patient information within manual and electronic patient information systems.

About the Role
We're looking for motivated and customer-focused Food Services Assistants to join our teams in a casual capacity across Monash Health.
The Food Services Assistant plays an important role in supporting the nutritional needs of patients, residents and customers by assisting with food preparation, meal assembly, meal delivery, cleaning and food safety activities. Working as part of the broader Support Services team, you will help ensure the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality food services.

Cabrini Brighton One South is a 33 bed mixed surgical and medical ward. We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our team in a permanent part-time position.
The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is responsible for supporting the nursing staff to deliver safe and seamless care and assisting with managing ward resources and equipment. The PCA will assist with monitoring and stocking resources, cleaning equipment, assisting with bed flow, and ensuring beds are made and ready for admissions to the ward.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering care to patients under the supervision and direction of the registered nurse.
- Providing observation of patients and related reporting to the registered nurse.
- Responding to patient and family queries and referring to the registered nurse as required.
- Maintaining the patient environment, including bed making, restocking of supplies and equipment.
- Maintaining patient privacy and dignity and responding to their emotional, spiritual and cultural needs.
What we're looking for:
- Health Service Assistance qualifications or relevant qualifications as outlined in the position description.
- Previous experience as a PCA/WA preferred

About our Infant Child and Youth Area Mental Health & Wellbeing Service
Our Infant, Child and Youth Area Mental Health Service provides a range of mental health services to infants,children, adolescents, youth and their families within the Southern Region.
The organisational and clinical model has been developed to provide mental health care that is flexible andresponsive to the individual and developmental needs of the infant to youth populations and their families. Assuch, this model will support the provision of integrated mental health care for young people, guided byconsistent, service-wide protocols and principles of care.
About the Endeavour Team
The position provides services to consumers of the Endeavour Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Team. The Endeavour Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Team is a specialist assessment and consultation team thatcompletes assessments of Infant, Child, and Youth Area Mental Health & Wellbeing Service clients who show complex neurological, developmental, behavioural, and psychiatric symptoms.
The focus of the position is to provide services to consumers who present with one or more areas of neurodivergence as defined broadly: Autism Spectrum Disorder; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder; emotional and behavioural change due to organic causes (neurological); tic disorders; Intellectual Developmental Disorder; Specific Learning Disorders; motor skill disorders and communication disorders. In addition, many of these clients experience co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and eating disorders. Young people experiencing these difficulties also may have complex psychosocial factors affecting their development and functioning.
About the Role
The role is that of a senior clinician who has training, qualifications, and experience in discipline-specific assessment of young people with neurodivergence and mental health problems. We are seeking a Senior Clinician for this role. The Senior Clinician will provide secondary consultations to Youth Mental Health Program clinicians, and will also complete discipline specific assessments and specialist autism assessment. They will provide therapeutic assessment and feedback, sometimes in collaboration with other members of the Targeted assessment team from different disciplines and/or with members of the Youth Mental Health Program teams, and write reports. They will provide leadership within the Endeavour team. As Endeavour also represents the hub of discipline specific work within ICYAMHWS, the Senior Clinician will hold knowledge of evidence-based assessment in the area of neurodiversity and mental health and will share this knowledge with the Youth Mental Health Program.
About You
You will have:
- An ability to work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in or willingness to upskill as necessary in assessment of neurodivergence (e.g. ADOS, MIGDAS etc.)
- Experienced in discipline-specific assessment using relevant assessment tools

About the Role

Join the Children’s Health and Wellbeing Local in an Access and Engagement role supporting children and families to connect with the right care, at the right time. The Team
The Case Management team forms part of People and Culture within the Department of Health. The team provides specialist advice and guidance across a broad range of employment matters, including employee grievances, complaints, performance management and workplace conflict. The Role
As a Case Management Consultant, you will provide high-level advice and consultancy services. The role is responsible for supporting managers and employees across the Department to address complex workplace matters in a fair, practical and solutions-focused way.
You will contribute to the development of policies and procedures, undertake research and analysis on employment-related matters, prepare correspondence, liaise with a broad range of stakeholders, and support the Department in achieving best practice employee relations outcomes.
You will need
- High level knowledge and understanding of contemporary human resource management issues, employment legislation and industrial Awards/Agreements as they apply within the Tasmanian State Service context; together with a sound understanding of the principles of procedural fairness and their practical application in a contemporary HR service.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in providing a high-level HR consultancy service in relation to dealing with complex issues including legislation interpretation, complaint handling and dispute resolution, within the political, social and organisational environment of health and human services in the public sector.

Join the Single Employer Model for your General Practice Training
The Registrar/Senior Registrar works under the direction and supervision of Specialist Medical Staff, and is responsible for:
- Adherence to professional protocols, policies, clinical pathways and standards.
- Demonstrating sound judgement and competence in accordance with skills and knowledge when undertaking tasks.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the allocated site/facility. Provide after-hours emergency as determined by the relevant work unit.
Strongly desirable selection criteria:
- Applicants must be confirmed by the local Tasmanian Directors of Training or their respective faculty as being on the training pathway of either The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
- Applicants must have already secured a placement in a Medical Centre listed under the relevant Commonwealth Section 19(2) Direction, which authorises participation in the Single Employer Model (SEM) program.
- Only those meeting the above two criteria will be considered for the GP registrar position within the SEM Pilot Program.
- Special consideration will be given to applicants whose accepted general practice placement is located in a rural or remote areas classified as MMM 3 or above.

Details of appointment:
Multiple Fixed term appointment available Statewide - North, North West and South locations, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 1 February 2027 until 30 January 2028. You will receive 10 hours of paid, protected training time per fortnight, pro rata.

The Role
- Demonstrates an interest in diabetes management and ongoing learning.
- Provides support to people living with diabetes, their families, and carers under the supervision of the CNS or CNC.
- Works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across THS-S and the RHH Diabetes Centre.
- Contributes to quality improvement activities that enhance clinical practice and service delivery.
- Promotes evidence-based practice through education and professional development.
You will need
- Current knowledge of, and the ability to apply nursing principles, procedures and practices in the delivery of patient/client care with in the RHH Diabetes Centre and in line with legal requirements and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board (NMBA) Registered Nurse standards of practice.
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Ability to undertake patient/client education in RHH Diabetes Centre, together with a commitment to participate in ongoing professional developing and safety and quality improvements.

About the Role
Join our team as a General Services Supervisor to work full time, ongoing, Monday - Friday (07:00 - 15:30) including an ADO (Accured Day Off) at Monash Medical Centre based in Clayton. Being part of the Support Services leadership team and reporting to the General Services Manager, General Services Supervisors play a vital role in supporting PSAs, ESAs in the delivery of excellence in hygiene and patient care.
This role is perfect for those with dynamic leadership skills and a positive attitude with a passion for being part of a collaborative patient-focused team.
Driving excellence across linen, pest control, washroom, and waste services to ensure operational objectives are met, you will be welcomed by a truly supportive and inspiring leadership team who encourage upskilling, growth and career development.
Key responsibilities of General Services Supervisor include but not limited to:

Lead and mentor a team of Patient Services and Environmental Services Assistants

Actively contribute to a positive team culture

Roster & timesheet management

Conducting inspections and cleaning audits of clinical and non-clinical areas and overseeing corrective actions

Meet service key performance indicators

Deliver high-quality customer focused services

Manage site-wide cleaning, waste, linen and patient movement requests

Management of staff performance and coordination of improvement plans
About You
To ensure your success in this role, you will bring experience in patient services within a hospital, aged care or commercial cleaning setting and have the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:

Demonstrated leadership skills to supervise and mentor a team is essential

Sound computer and MS suite skills required with time & attendance and HRIS knowledge desirable

Agility in multi-tasking and prioritising tasks
-
Demonstrated knowledge of; and ability to maintain and improve cleaning, hygiene and infection prevention standards and practices

Understanding of Victorian Public Hospital Cleaning Standards
-
Ability to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling

Excellent communication skills with ability to implement written instructions and company policies & procedures

High standard of integrity and confidentiality required at all times
You are also required to hold:
- Relevant certificates to General Services. Example: Health Services Certificate III / Food Handlers certificate
- Detailed knowledge of Environmental Services
- Diploma of Management (desirable)
